Terrible aerator
So this aerator is designed to remove tiny particles from the water. It clogs constantly! I’ve changed it 4 times already. I’m told I should be draining the water lines periodically to reduce debris. Also told to soak and clean the aerator..doesn’t help. All this work just to maintain an aerator? Ridiculous! I’ve never had to do this with any other aerator on any faucet ever! I don’t have hard water and I’ve even done this absurd regular line draining. Should i have to keep doing this much work on an aerator? By the way it’s clogged again. Maybe i need a bunch to keep on hand so i can change it every 6 months. That sounds normal doesn’t it?

Didn't work.
I tried to remove the aireator using the plastic tool provided. It did not work. Even though I soaked the area in vinegar for 10 hours, the wrench would not loosen the aireator.

What's the difference between this and MODEL#: RP51345?

The Delta LAHARA Aerator - Water-Efficient W/ Wrench - 1.5 GPM MODEL# RP54977 has 13/16"-27 male threads while the Delta LAHARA Aerator - Water-Efficient W/ Wrench - 1.5 GPM MODEL# RP51345 has 16.5x1 male threads. Water flow in kitchen faucet is low compared to others in house.

Reduced flow is typically caused by trapped debris or a clogged aerator. We recommend flushing the faucet by running the water with the aerator removed. See here for more information:

I was thinking delta faucet had a life time parts warranty
