How do I identify the model/part number? I have a Delta from 1972 when the house was built. I need the escutcheon. The brass casting in the wall has 249 stamped on the upper left next to the 'up' . It would need a center hole of 1.8 "

my escutcheon for my series 600 shower valve has the diverter in the escutcheon…is there an escutcheon available that has the diverter in the escutcheon?

Is there a refurb kit for the 1600 series shower valve? The original escutcheon for the 1600 series is not available. My unit uses the RP1991 cartridge. Also, what is the service life for the mixing valve assembly in the 1600 series? Thanks.

Hi Steve, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP5883. Unfortunately, we don't make a kit for a 1600 series shower. A 14 Series shower handle should work, but not the rest of the trim. 1600 series showers were discontinued before we introduced our Lifetime Limited Warranty.
