Often stuck in on position and only lasted 1 year
As others have noted, it sometimes stuck in the on position which was certainly problematic. The push button broke after a year, which could have been a secondary result of the "sticking on" problem, since the only way to unstick it was to repeatedly whack the sprayer against the side of the sink until it released.

Diverter Fails After Only a Few Years
I bought a Delta Kitchen Faucet, model # 400-DST-L, from my local box store. After a couple of years, I had to replace the sprayer. A few years later, I need to replace the sprayer again, as once again the diverter is failing. I am surprised Delta has not redesigned the sprayer as the basic design leaves much to be desired. The agent at the customer service center is well aware of the issue, and did not allay my concern this would not happen again in a few years. I'm probably going to replace the entire faucet with another brand.

Side Sprayer Broken
I replaced my kitchen faucet with this Delta model awhile back. The sprayer broke last summer and I had to disconnect it. I was looking at Menander's where I bought it and they said it is a special connection. Went to your parts list and you have to buy the whole assembly. It is like $43.00. Are you kidding. It is just a plastic ring. That is outrageous. Also I Quote (Backed by Delta Faucet's Lifetime Limited Warranty".) Wheres the backing?

Proprietary garbage
Replacement hose with this specific connector is garbage. I'll be throwing out the Delta faucet and replacing it with a faucet/sprayer that uses universal fittings

Sticks in the open position
This sprayer is 13 months old , every once it wound stick in the open position but would close after sitting a while. Not it’s stuck in the open position and won’t close. It’s a piece of junk! I’ve always bought Delta products but after replacing 3 sprayers I wild have to constant others

The hose/sprayer joint is weak
The hose is really stiff and it's not easy to maneuver once you've pulled it out of the holder. The result is that the hose cracks at the joint of the sprayer. After only three years, it's a bit disappointing that I have to replace the whole hose/sprayer assembly for $42.

Possible Design Error
A small round plastic piece hold the sprayer to the hose. It somehow broke off and it required the whole entire hose and sprayer to be replaced - which Delta did send me for free. It just seemed a waste not to replace the one part and it seems like a lot the sprayer weight is place on that one small plastic piece when it sits in the holder. Just a thought otherwise the sprayer worked fine.

Why no image?
I have no complaints about the sprayer itsefl but nowhere on the site does it state that the sprayer comes with the spray support assembly. So I ordered a spray support and now I have two of them. And since it was below the minimum return valve I cannot return it.

Is the retaining clip (blue) for the connector to the mixer available to purchase?
There is one blue clip with four prongs that wrap around the hose connector at the mixer. This blue clip is broken in half. We need to replace the sprayer head, which is stuck open and are reluctant to just replace the head because of the water pressure that will build up in the hose. We need one of these clips or if the purchase is packaged in two, a package of these clips. Prompt response will be appreciated.

Diamond seal
It appears that there are more and more consumers looking for replacement parts for the side sprayer. Main problem seems to be the push in connection breaking. And yet this can only be replaced by buying the complete assembly,and none of this is available from our local merchants only on line.
Any plans to make these parts available locally?

All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. If the sprayer assembly fails to operate properly simply call our toll free Homeowner/Warranty line at 1-800-345-3358 for warranty parts assistance. Your local retailer or wholesaler can order the item for you but it is their determination on whether they stock the item or not.

All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. Delta recommends using a professional plumber for all installation and repair.
Delta will replace, FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any part or finish that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.
Replacement parts may be obtained by calling 1‑800‑345‑DELTA (3358).

does sprayer unscrew from hose on RP60097?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP60097 is a quick connect sprayer. To remove it, pinch the sides together and push up slightly before pulling down to remove it.

Any changes to the spray head hose connection?
My stainless steel spray head is in good condition. I only need to replace the damaged hose. Have there been any changes to the hose connections to prevent me from reusing my existing stainless steel spray head?
Hi None, Thank you for your question. There have been no changes to the hose connection on the RP60097. The hose that comes with the RP60097 is not available as a separate item. We do offer a 6' long hose RP64520 that will work with your existing faucet and spray head.

Can I buy just the push on connector for this sprayer?
I don't need a new sprayer or hose, only the push on and up into the diverter part.

Does the RP60097 come with everything I need to swap out the sprayer? I installed the 400-DST-L several years ago and the sprayer now sticks on and takes several minutes to turn off.
