I purchased this flange because it matched the Delta shower arm I purchased. It is simply stamped metal but has a good finish and matches will with the shower arm.

Stainless Steel Flange
We wanted all stainless steel for our remodled bathroom.
But after receiving this item, we figured we could have been just as happy with a cheaper flange -- it is a part that isn't really noticable.
But we also expect it to last so perhaps not such a bad decision.

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP6025 Shower Arm Flange can be removed by first unscrewing the shower head off of the shower arm first. The flange can then be pulled right off of the shower arm. This might be sealed with silicon sealant to the wall. This may need to be scraped off.
