Have a Delta, Ashlyn, Model # 3564-SSMPU-DST-R bathroom faucet that slowly drips underneath the cold water faucet in the cabinet. If I changed out the faucet cartridge would that fix the leak? What is the PN for the replacement cartridge for the model I have?

Was Sent The Wrong Part
Was sent the wrong part.
While I appreciate Delta’s lifetime free replacement parts, it doesn’t do any good when you’re sent the wrong part. Despite telling the service rep the year when I bought the faucet, I was sent a replacement part for a newer version of it. Didn’t realize it was the wrong part until I had taken everything apart and compared the new to the old.
I’m giving two stars because at least Delta has this program and the rep was helpful and friendly when I called. Next time I’ll look up the part myself and confirm the part number needed.

Fits but is not quarter turn
We have the 35718-SP-DST Delta Lakewood Two Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet in Spotshield Brushed Nickel. Followed the diagram and brought this cartridge to replacing leaking one. Installed but is not quarter turn. Handle will turn all the way around, every quarter turn you are either turning water on or off.

how do i replace the RP 60400 valve

I am sorry to hear about the trouble that you are having with your faucet and I would be happy to help.
While the information can vary slightly depending on the model number of the faucet, I will provide basic instructions.
To begin, turn the water off to your faucet, remove the handle and the bonnet nut underneath. Once these pieces have been removed, you will be able to pull straight up on the stem unit to remove. Follow the directions in reverse to install the new stem unit.

is rp60400 a replacement for rp25513? and do i still need the spring assembly in the base? if i need the spring assembly in the base, what are the product numbers?
Thank you for your question, BillS! The part number RP60400 is a Diamond Seal Technology cartridge that works only with a DST faucet valve. If your model uses the RP25513 stem units, you will also need the RP4993 seats and springs.

ON THE DELTA LINDEN 2594 RB FAUCET, HAS THIS EVER HAD ANY OTHER STEM BESIDES THE RP60400

Thank you for your question. The Delta 2594-RB Faucet did have a different version that takes the RP24096 stem unit assembly with RP4993 seats and springs kit.

how do you get the handle off to install the cartridge? Do you have any specs?

Thank you for your question. To remove the Delta RP60400 Valve Cartridge Assembly, first turn the water off at the shut off valves. Remove the button on the handle to expose the set screw. Unscrew the set screw with a 3/32" Allen Wrench.

I want to confirm I need part RP24096 for leak above sink, hot water, for Victorian wide spread bathroom faucet, with copper tubing under the sink. Originally thought part RP60400 but based on other questions, don't think it's a DST faucet. Thank you.
