Ideal Replacement for Handheld Shower Bar
If you had a vertical shower bar setup (the bar with two brackets that allows you to move a handheld up and down on the wall) that fell apart on you, two of these new 'non-bar' fixed brackets will do the trick to cover over the two old shower bar brackets and give you a place to rest the handheld. One down low for kids and one up higher for adults. Works fine - just have a plumber or handyman install it properly.

I would never bought these had I known. Misleading name
Misleading name. I thought the universal meant that I could use this bracket with pretty much any showerhead for a handheld shower. That’s not the case. They are only usable for the universal line of Delta products and nothing else. I had a Moen handheld shower that I bought these for. They were useless. Ultimately it was easier to replace the showerhead with a Delta “universal“ model, I would never bought these had I known.

Will this mount work to provide a second height mount for the 2in1 Intuition D58065-SS?
We have a D58065 2in1 Intuition shower head and would like a second mount to be placed lower so our daughters can use the hand held shower head part at a lower height. Will this work and what is the difference between this and the U4005-SS-PK mount?

Thank you for your question. Either hand shower mount will work with the hand shower for the 58065-SS In2ition.
The RP61294SS has a plated brass nut, whereas the U4005-SS-PK has a non-metallic nut.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP61294RB is not necessary for the 58065-RB shower wand. The only thing missing to complete the 58065-RB is the shower arm and shower flange.

Adjustment angle?
What is the variance of degree that the adjustable holder rotates to? Does the tension wear over time? I do not want the handshower to be too top-heavy and fall out if the angle of the holder goes too far
Hi CKB, Thank you for your question. The movement of the RP61294 shower mount is appproxmately 15 degrees in each direction. The adjustment angle will not be enough to cause the hand shower to fall out. The tension should not wear out over time.

What is the center to center distance for the screws on RP61294SS? I am replacing a shower holder having 2 screws and it would be great if I could use the same holes.

Will this work with Delta Porter 144984
Dear Brent,
Thank you for your question. The Delta RP61294 is a Wall Mount for a handshower. This mount can be used with any of our Delta handshower units. The Delta Porter 144984 Bathtub Shower unit does not come with a handshower unit.

Is RP61294 compatible with 58967-pk?

Thank you for your question! This wall mount will work with the hand shower for the 58967-PK. In fact, all of our hand shower hoses and adjustable mounts are compatible, as it is the cone-shaped nut on the hose that sits into the mount.

Thank you for your question. Other than style difference there is not alot of difference between the 2 hand shower wall mounts. The U4005-CZ-PK is offered and packaged for individual sale and the RP61294CZ is sold as a replacement part for the full model hand showers. Neither wall mount is a suction mount, they both use screws.

I have glass tile in my shower and do not particularly wish to try and drill through them. Is there a way to mount this using adhesive or double-sided tape?

does this swivel so that a hand held shower sprayer can be horizontal instead of vertical?

The connection can swivel and rotate. The hand shower could fall out of the holder if it is horizontal.
