Matte Black finish peeled off
The drain assembly has not held up. Like another customer, our matte black coating peeled off revealing the brass base less than 3 years after install. We will try another brand for replacement.

tailpiece outside diameter smaller than standard
the tailpiece is less than 1 1/4 inch. Closer to 1 1/8 inch. Which means that the standard gasket through which the tailpiece protrudes, which is made to fit over an 1 1/4 OD tailpiece, has a gap which admits draining water. I noticed this when foaming soap was used for hand washing. Bubbles flowed right up around the tailpiece.
Solution: Delta could provide a gasket with an 1 1/8 inch through-hole to slip over the tailpiece.
Note: the 1 1/8 inch gasket I referenced above is NOT a standard size. At least one plumbing supply house I contacted does not carry a gasket of that size (it makes up into an 1 1/2 p-trap with a coupling nut)
further note: the p-trap is PVC. Standard 1 1/2, nothing fancy. Was working fine with the old chrome 1 1/4 inch tailpiece coming off a Delta drain assembly.
Reality solution: old standby plumber's putty.

Unfortunately, the flange is not available as an individual part. We recommend replacing the RP62472RB or RP26533RB Drain Assembly.
A replacement stopper in Venetian Bronze is RP5648RB.

This assembly came with my Porter wide handle faucet. I do not have an overflow on my sink. What part do I need for a non overflow sink /drain body?

Thank you for your question and we are happy to help! The Delta RP62472-OB does not come with a lift rod. The lift rod comes with your faucet and will be in the parts and accessories diagram of your faucet model. The horizontal rod however comes with the RP62472-OB and is part number RP12517.

What is the size of the down pipe, I am trying to find a compatible connection to the main drain line because the down pipe is too short and not as wide as what was pre-existing.

How can I get a longer ball rod stick? The current part in the set is not long enough. My faucet is offset from the sink and the ball rod lever does not reach the lever to raise the stopper. need probably 9" ball rod lever. Thanks

I have just installed this drain and ran water to check for leaks. I found it leaking from the back side where the rod goes in, I did use the plumber tape,so I tightened it a little more and have cracked the nut that holds this rod. I have no gasket here?

The black rubber gasket and white plastic pivot seat are usually inside the tailpiece, where the horizontal rod connects. The nut that holds the horizontal rod in the tailpiece is not available separately.

Is it possible to just get a replacement pivot nut and stopper in oil rubbed bronze? My faucet is working wonderfully, however the finish on the pivot nut/stopper have hard water stains and is no longer oil rubbed bronze. I don’t need the entire assembly.

Unfortunately, a replacement pivot nut for this drain assembly is not currently available as an individual part. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes. The replacement stopper RP5648 is not available in oil-rubbed bronze. RP5648RB in Venetian bronze would be the closest match.
We would recommend replacing the RP62472OB drain assembly.

Thank you for the question. The RP6130 is designed to work with a drain assy that is all metal. Since this is made of plastic it won't fit correct and you will end up with a leak. We don't have the gasket and pivot seat as a separate part for this drain assy.

Will this pop-up fit/Work with a 15757LF – RB Faucet?

This drain would be a replacement for the faucet model 15757LF-RB. The oil-rubbed bronze (OB) finish is similar to our Venetian bronze (RB) finish. The drain is also available in Venetian bronze finish as RP62472RB.

The tailpiece is 4 7/8" from the horizontal rod to the end of the tail pipe. Adapters can be added to extend the pipe further, and those can be found at a local plumbing store.

This assembly came with our faucet that we purchased.The two Large Holes on the down pipe are leaking as our sink does not have a compartment area to contain the water that flows past them.Packaging didn't mention this type of down pipe.What can we do?

We have a model 2571LF faucet where the horizontal rod inside the drain rusted out. In the manual you listpar number RP62472 that is the entire drain assembly. All I need is the rod with the ball on it. Is there a separate part number for it?
