Very poorly made and snapped in two
The fact I had to buy one of these because the original broke less than 5 years after instal tell you everything. The original wasn't used actively and just held a delta handshower that was rarely used. The item is very poorly made.

Poor quality - now discontinued???
Ours broke within a year of install (14 months after purchase though) same as the previous reviews and pictures. Submitted warranty claim this morning and a warranty PO issued within 4 hours which is awesome. Concern is that this product is of VERY poor quality/design and that it is now showing as discontinued on the website. What is the replacement when this one breaks which is inevitable?

Broke within 2 years of install and very cheap
We redid our bathroom in 2019 and installed a Delta Dryden Premium Single-Setting Slide Bar Hand Shower. The holder broke within the 2nd year after install.

The piece on the right that holds the shower head is loose and cannot bear the weight of the showerhead anymore. The head just immediately falls facing down. Is there a way to tighten it?

I just purchased the #54424-PK hand shower; can I use it with this slide mechanism?
We have all the Vero faucets, accessories and now want to purchase the slide bar (Vero Contemporary), but want to use the hand-held shower nozzle #54424-PK. Will this work? Thank you.
Hi Travel, Thank you for your question. The RP64239 mount on the model 57530 slide bar will hold the hand shower from your model 54424-PK. The conical nut from the hand shower hose rests in the holder.

What angles does this rotate?
I assume this rotates. Does it rotate 360 degrees or a more limited amount?
Hi Jason, Thank you for your question. Most of the mounts offer a full range of motion, but when the showerhead and hose are attached that is what will limit the motion.

Does this slide mechanism tilt up and down, so if the hand held shower nozzle is in the bracket it can be tilted to spray dnward and not straight out?
I want to be sure the slide mechanism for the Vero slide bar can tilt upward and downward, so there is flexibility on where the hand held shower will spray when in the bracket.
Hi Travel, Thank you for your question. The RP64239 slide mechanism does tilt allowing you to adjust the angle of the hand held shower head. The motion is 360 degrees.

Will the Delta 59421-SS-PK with U495D-SS60-PK work with this mount?

Can you give me instructions on how to install this Slide Mechanism? I need to replace my old Slide Mechanism that broke and can't locate the screws on the bar. I need to take the old Slide Mechanism out before putting in the new Slide Mechanism.

To replace the slide mechanism, the bar would need to be removed from the wall. Please refer to the instructions below.
Please gather a small Philips screwdriver and a 1/8" inch Allen wrench. Put a washcloth over the drain to prevent losing any screws.
1. Please make sure to remove the hand shower before starting. Remove the cap off of the top and bottom of the bar.
2. You will see a Philips screw inside. Be careful not to lose these screws.
3. You will see a set screw at the bottom, loosen it just a little to pull the bar away from the wall brackets.
