What are the actual dimensions of the o-ring?

How do you install rp64388 O-ring in rp73389 wall mounted spout? Is the spout really 2 pieces that unscrew so that the O-ring can be accessed, or do you have to jam the O-ring 1 1/2 down the spout to install it? Thanks for the help!

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. We recommend to replace the whole spout assembly if the o-ring is needed. The spout assembly is RP73389. Here is a link to the spout part:

I just installed this faucet in a new home. The faucet was brand new and I have the spout slid on as far as it will go and it is leaking. Is the O-ring capable of being replaced or am I stuck buying a whole new spout? Thanks
