Cleanable, But, . .
Normal precipitated hard water mineral deposits (Calcium + lime) can be dissolved away by soaking in vinegar, but blocking sand deposits on orange mesh screen must be removed by prying off screen with micro-flatblade screwdriver, and back-flushing (brushing screen with clean toothbrush, poked through screen mesh). Be patient and be careful.

Can this aerator be installed on a T14259-LHD shower system

Thank you for your question. We do not make an aerator made to go onto the shower arm. The thread patterns are not the same.

Is the rp70719 1.8gpm aerator standard eith the 400 dst model? I tried screwing a 2.5 gpm aerator on 400 dst faucet but couldnt screw on with gasket. Is that right?
Thank you for your question, Geo64! The RP70719 1.80 gpm @ 60 psi is the standard aerator for the 400-DST model. A 2.5 gpm aerator may not fit however this model will accept 5/16"-27 Male thread aerators and another may be found at plumbing supplier. Please check with current water legislation in your area first.

I have a 400-DST kitchen faucet. 13/16, 55/64 and 15/16 inch aerators are common. The one that came out of my faucet is between 55/64 and 15/16 inch. What size is it? I am a Delta believer and used to sell them at a store I worked.

This is a 1.8 gpm aerator for the faucet model 400-DST. The thread size is 15/16-27.

On kitchen faucet model 400-DTS, how is the aerator taken off to replace with a new one?

The aerator will unthread from the spout by turning by hand counterclockwise until removed.

Is either aerator (RP70719 or RP18508) compatible with your 141-SS-DST single handle kitchen deck less spray?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet aerator RP70719WH.
The faucet 470-AR-DST currently uses the aerator RP76076. Before 2014 when the was was redesigned, the faucet used aerator RP32529.
RP70719WH has the same thread size as RP32529. It may fit the older version of the wand.
