Love my Delta Cassidy soap dispenser!
This is my second soap dispenser! Although I love my kitchen dispenser I really hope this one lasts longer than the first one. The first one only lasted about 6/7 years but it’s only my husband and I in the house, which is a part time home, sooo. Our fingers are crossed

Very disappointed!
Very low quality product. Feels like chrome covered plastic. The soap fill hole is so small you can only fill it with very watery soap.

Worst Delta Product!
This is the worst Delta product I have ever purchased. It feels like plastic with a chrome finish. The hole where you put the soap is so small making it almost impossible to fill. Called Delta and was told I would have to purchase a funnel to fill the dispenser that will be $4.30 in addition to the $50.12 I paid for the soap dispenser. Very disappointed with Delta!

Feels like cheap plastic
Delta seems to be attempting to compete with the top fixture company (whose name begins with an M) in pricing only. It’s my opinion as a long time M user (installed throughout our current home, which we built), the quality, design and finishes by Delta are NOT nearly as good or as aesthetically pleasing/visually appealing. The M brand finishes are classy and rich looking. NOT so much with Delta, whose quality, finishes & value seem to me to be subpar in comparison. (I am not employed or affiliated in any way with any company who sells plumbing fixtures or any other products. I only mention the other company to explain the basis for my opinion through comparison from first-hand experience with a different company.)
I’m so dissatisfied with this soap dispenser, which looks & feels like cheap plastic. And I think it’s a shame that Delta’s response to others who complained about the use of cheap PLASTIC is simply a cover: “Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer.” My solid metal M brand soap dispenser is 18 years old and has never rusted – and, lol – has never “transferred heat”. What a way to defend using cheap plastic. I guess anything can be justified. The Delta soap dispenser does not feel substantial in weight at all. It’s also too bulky; not at all a refined or sleek looking design. I made a mistake in NOT reading the reviews before purchase. Some say the soap dispenser doesn’t work well, fails after only a few years of use, or and that the undercounter soap holder doesn’t hold that much soap. I checked my M brand and it appears the much smaller Delta bottle will have to be refilled much more often, which is disappointing. I’ve had my M brand soap dispenser for over 18 years. The part of the dispenser above the granite countertop is all quality metal; not metal coated plastic, and it honestly looks and operates the same as the day it was installed. It is still beautiful, refined looking and fully operational without any problems. I love it.
Even though we haven’t moved in yet, I regret going with my plumber’s recommendation to use Delta throughout our new home.
I’ll revisit my reviews in a few years to provide any updates or change of opinion regarding function and durability of Delta products, especially with regard to finishes and operation. I hope and pray that I will be able to change my rating to 4 or 5 stars, and that my current disappointment will change to one of being able to enthusiastically recommend of Delta products. People often write reviews immediately after installation based on appearance only. In my case, ONLY TIME will tell.

Great soap and lotion dispenser
Smooth dispensing of soap, but lotion has to be fairly liquid, really thick ones won’t dispense.
Would have given a 5 star if it wasn’t for the very narrow neck which makes it difficult to fill

Stops working after 2 years
This soap dispenser is attractive and great while it works, but unfortunately, the pump mechanism fails within one to two years. I have now installed two in under five years. I emailed Delta customer service and never received a response. I will look for another brand and this is a waste of money.

We have the Cassidy soap/lotion dispenser installed in our kitchen (artic stainless). A visitor in our home at Thanksgiving broke the pump dispenser off the plastic tube. Is it possible to purchase a pump only? not the entire dispenser?

Does this come in brushed nickel?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any soap dispensers in the Brushed Nickel finish at this time and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The closest finishes we currently offer to match the Brushed Nickel finish at this time is the Stainless Steel and Arctic Stainless finish.

Can you use foam soap with this dispenser? I am currently redoing my kitchen and debating about putting in a soap dispenser.
Thank you for your question, LJMS! Our Delta soap dispensers are not designed to be used with foam soap. Although it may be used, the soap will not foam properly.

Is a kit available for the kitchen soap dispensers that allows a tube to be inserted directly into a full bottle of hand soap in the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink, thus eliminating the 13 oz soap bottle?

Is this truly stainless steel (metal) or is it coated to look like stainless steel? If not metal, why the price difference?

Will dispenser work with all 3, liquid hand soap, liquid dishwasher soap, hand lotion?

I installed two of the RP71543AR soap/lotion dispensers about 8 years ago. The one we use for liquid dish washing soap (similar to Palmolive) works fine. The one we use for hand soap has stiffened up and does not pump properly.

My soap dispenser quit pumping, I removed the pump soaked in hot water, then tried to pump to flush, it wouldn’t at first the harder I tried to compress the pump it finally separated at spring, still won’t pump? Next….?model RP71543
