Q&A

Is the aerator removable and if so, what is the RP number of the part and tool? Thank you.

Asked by: Troy
Hi Troy, Thank you for your question. The aerator is not designed to be removed. You can clean it by removing the and from the hose and soaking the wand assembly in a half and half solution of white vinegar and water. Best regards, Jon

The aerator on my Cassidy faucet spray assembly broke off. Is their a replacement for the aerator or do I need to replace the entire assembly?

Asked by: John
I replaced the aerator in my 9197-AR-DST with a new aerator, part number RP70746. The aerator was clearly removable, I had no problem removing and replacing it.

Is there any documentation or videos available on how to disassemble and clean/descale/decalcify a 3 function RP72680PN Delta Cassidy Pullout Spray Wand Assembly on a Touch2O Kitchen faucet?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, Thank you for your question! We do not recommend disassembling a wand assembly as this could potentially damage it and void the warranty. For cleaning we recommend soaking it in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water and rinsing. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Tim Digital Communications Specialist

Is this part the replacement nozzle that includes the Shield Spray technology and can be used on the older Cassidy model? If not, what is the new part number so that I can order the nozzle with the Shield Spray for a retrofit?

Asked by: Leslie3416
Thank you for your question, Leslie! You can purchase and install the RP90839 Wand Assembly with ShieldSpray on an existing 9197-DST faucet. Installation is as easy as unscrewing the original wand from the hose and screwing the new one back on. This part can be purchased online or over the phone at 1-800-345-3358. Best regards, Tanya

New home/new faucet...very poor water pressure.  Are there water restrictors that can be removed to increase water pressure?

Asked by: Jerry
Hi, Jerry. Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. Unfortunately, there is not a way to remove the water restrictor. We do recommend to clean the sprayer by removing the sprayer from the hose assembly and soaking the unit in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mixture. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight. If you are still experiencing low flow, please contact us back. Best Regards, Rosanna

How do you remove the sprayer assembly shield spray from the faucet handle to clean? Cassidy shield spray

Asked by: Donna
Thank you for your question, Donna. The sprayer assembly can be unscrewed from the ridged nut on the end of the hose. You can then check for debris in the sprayer and soak it in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for 30-60 minutes to help dissolve mineral buildup. Best regards, Jon

Is there a video or scheme to that shows how to replace the head?

Asked by: Phil
Hello, Thank you for your question! To install the wand you will press the small button on the end of the hose and twist the existing wand counterclockwise until it fully unthreads from it. Next, simply thread the wand onto the hose counterclockwise. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Tim Digital Communications Specialist

Is the kitchen faucet wand replacement part RP72680PCPR the same as the RP72680 part on my original faucet? I want to make sure it will fit the existing hose connection before I buy it.

Asked by: Steve
Hi Steve, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP72680PCPR. Yes, this is the same part as RP72680. It fits the same connection. "PCPR" indicates the Lumicoat chrome finish which matches the chrome finish of RP72680. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist
