This faucet head lowers the amount of water coming through the aerator by restricting the water flow. The problem is that the increasing the water pressure coming out of the aerator sprays all over myself, the counter, my mirror and the floor. My initial analysis of why the water was spaying all over the place was that it was shipped without a screen on the exit portion of the aerator. But, I was told by my retailer that this is just the design. The retailer said he could not return the product to Delta and offered to refund my money but he though he could not foresee selling this particular part so I declined his refund. On the off chance my retailer was incorrect about the part not missing a screen I am attaching a photo showing my original aerator and the 1 gal aerator that I am writing this review about.

The plumber who serviced my water heater told me that I can write to Delta regarding replacement of these aerators and I can get them for free. Is that true? or was he lying? I have 3 ASHLYN faucets (6 years old) that need these aerators. Please advise.
