My plumber failed to flush the line after installing a new water heater. The result was a clogged sprayer assembly part no. RP73049SS on my kitchen faucet. It's discontinued but is the part or an equivalent still available? How do I order one?

I see the part #RP73049 Sprayer Assembly is discontinued. I have taken mine apart for cleaning and the flow is still weak. Any options for next step(s)??

Hello Phil Kinsey, Thank you for contacting us! I am happy to help you! The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush your faucet. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff. Remove your aerator, wand, or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Please contact us with any questions or for further assistance. Best Regards, Emma

Spray Assembly - Pull-Down In Stainless MODEL#: RP73049SS Since this is discontinued, what is the replacement part number. IF no replacement, THEN how is it cleaned/rebuilt.

Recommended maintenance would be to soak the sprayer in 50/50 white vinegar and water to help dissolve any buildup of mineral deposits. Is the magnet that holds the sprayer head in place on the pull down head or is it on both the head and the stem?

I bought this (model # 19963-SSSD-DST) about 5 to 6 years ago. The magnet that holds the pull-down head in place is totally gone, started breaking off in small pieces until it was gone, Now the faucet head just hangs down about 4 inches.
