I have the freestanding tub faucet that can’t go beyond lukewarm even after adjusting it to the hottest setting. Will this valve allow the water to get hot?

Thank you for contacting us. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing reduced hot flow from your Delta faucet! We would be happy to help.
The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. If the issue remains you can try soaking the cartridge in white vinegar for about 15-30 minutes.

If I get Hot side in wrong position would this cause the water diverter to swap cold & hot positions?

Will rp73598 cartridge fit a13/1400 rough in , I am looking for flow & presser & not scouts protection

This cartridge would fit a 13/14 series rough-in from 2006 or after. A shower's maximum flow rate would typically be determined by the showerhead. This is not a pressure balance cartridge. This is not for use in showering applications in the USA or Canada.

Is cartridge 1300 free because of life warranty on faucet?

We recommend a pressure-balanced cartridge for showers. If there is a drip or leak while off, we recommend replacing the RP4993 seats and spring in the legs of the cartridge.
Our Lifetime warranty guarantees the original owner that the product is free of defects in the parts and finish. Issues caused by normal wear and tear may not be covered.

Hi—I have a Delta Trinsic Floor Mounted Tub Filler with Integrated Diverter and Hand Shower. Can no longer get the usual level of hot water (hot h20 @ sink 120f, @ tub 109f). Is this the right part to correct hot/cold mixing?

Yes, this cartridge is used by Trinsic floor-mounted tub fillers to mix hot and cold. First, I recommend adjusting the Rotational Limit Stop on the cartridge counterclockwise. Pull out and turn.

Yes, this cartridge RP73598 fits a free-standing tub filler like the Cassidy model T4797-FL.
Please note this cartridge is not pressure-balanced. If the cold supply pressure drops, the water temperature will spike.
The pressure-balanced cartridge RP46074 can also be used.
