I'm in need of the removable handle extension part
We had to replace the handle assembly and insert in our shower, but plumbing supply store (Pipeline out of Hopkins, MN) only had the assembly with a screw, and did not have the "handle extension" part that affixes to assembly. I cannot get a good enough grip on the screw holding the handle extension to remove it from the old assembly (enclosed photo). I think it's pretty well corroded in there. Do you sell that piece separately? It's about a 16 year old model. We had gold-colored handle on a chrome assembly, but would take any color.

Thank you for your question. The part number for the spindle is RP26852. The accent is A74PB. You can unscrew the spindle by turning the accent. If it is stuck, please try soaking a rag with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution and wrapping around the handle for about 15-30 minutes. This will help dissolve any mineral buildup.

We have a Delta shower head with spray attachment. Monitor 1700 series. That has started dripping. I can’t find it online for a part number. I think it’s just a gasket. Where do I find parts for this shower head?

Thank you for your question! For a 1700 series shower, we recommend RP28603 to replace the seats, springs, and one set of quad rings behind the cartridge in the shower faucet handle.

I have a 20 year old 1700 series shower. We just replaced the cartridge and now we need to replace everything else. What do I need to fix this? Replacement parts or new?

Can you please provide the cartridge number needed for the 1700 series?
I am looking for a chrome trim kit to replace the existing one on a Monitor model shower faucet, 1700 series.
Thank you for your question TED25! A 1700 series shower trim can be replaced with a T17 trim kit. A couple of examples would be T17099 or T17093.
If your shower was installed after 2006 and uses a Delta MultiChoice valve. Any trim kit including T14 T17 or T17T can be used.

New (to us) house has 1700 series. Every one of them drops/leaks if we don’t get a perfect combo of turning handles a certain way and even then it does a lot. plumber said to contact Delta for replacement cartridges. Can you help? Thx
