Tub waste plug with fine threads
We have an older tub drain (1997). We ordered an RP391 kit and the plug has coarse threads, but we need finer threads. Can we get a plug with finer threads? If so, what is the part number? Thank you!

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a plug with different threads. This is the only waste plug that we currently make for a lever-operated bath waste assembly.

In Waste Plug RP7432CZ, what is the outer thread diameter? In Waste Plug RP16687CZ what is the outer thread diameter?
I purchased RP31558CZ and the Waste Plug is too large, Which I am returning.
I am looking for a smaller thread diameter and could use either RP16687CZ or RP7432CZ. but your Web site does not give the thread size information.
Hi Dick, Thank you for your question. The RP7432CZ has an outer thread diameter of 1-5/8". The RP16687CZ has the same outer thread diameter as the RP31558CZ which is 1-1/2". We do not offer a waste plug with a smaller diameter than the 1-1/2".
