Is this plate needed for installation of the Trinsic Single-Handle Floor-Mount Roman Tub Faucet with Hand Shower in Chrome (Valve Included)?

Thank you for your question, Sherry. The mounting plate is included with the model 144759-FL. Trim-only models (such as T4759-FL) require a R4700-FL valve, which includes the mounting plate. Best regards, Jon
