REVIEWS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy!!! This rating of the replacement part belongs in the "ZERO" category but, unfortunately, that is not available. Like the other rating reviews, the tabs are sooooo weak and flimsy that doing my initial installation VERY GENTLY, one broke. so many reviews have said the same thing over and over for more than two years. One would think that Delta would listen and fix. The original part #82265 was better build and lasted eight years. This replacement part did not even last one day because it is so inferior.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No way to replace without breaking How could such an expensive bathtub faucet break so easily? There is no way to replace this cap without breaking the small plastic hinge that keeps it in place. Delta, how are we supposed to place these on without breaking them?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I had to get it replaced under warranty due to breaking upon installation. They would only replace it 1 time under warranty. I bought another one just in case, as others stated, it breaks in a few months. Also doesn't sit right on the valve. Made of plastic/breaks easily.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from shower valve cover For a valve cover that cost more than $1400.00 and to break before the third year looking for the right part this website is definitely not user friendly

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly designed - plastic. Perhaps a solution I read some of the reviews on here (it has a 1.1 rating which perhaps would be lower if you did not have to at least put a 1 star rating). I read about the plastic having advantages of corrosion. heat transfer, etc. My suggestion to Delta would be to add a screw-type feature that would allow people to tighten/loosen as needed, yet would allow the unit to have easy on/off rather than pressure on/off (which makes it susceptible to the tab-breaking everyone seems to complain about). This screw could be stainless steel (rust issue solved), small enough (no great amount of heat transfer), ease of installation/removal for people. Here's hoping :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from cheap plastic, misleading descriptions i asked several time what the knob is made of and they told me metal and plastic, then i got it and it broke. garbage!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easily breaks Lasted two years and broke after that . We replaced and the snaps broke again. I don’t want to replace the entire thing but I may have to :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken plastic tab As others have noted, this part is a weak plastic formulation. The tab broke when attempting to "snap" it on. Mosco Canada stated "This is not a warranty issue" and suggested that I go and buy a replacement at a hardware store. It clearly SHOULD BE under warranty. I am not impressed.

I also need to remove a temp control cover on a brand new faucet. I thought I could put the cover on temporary & then go back and finish job and finish the installation later. Where exactly do I pry since the tab is hidden & what is "tip" in A2?

Asked by: Crusher
Thank you for your question, Crusher! We recommend prying the temperature knob cover up from the back side of the knob or opposite side of the lever. Please contact us if you have questions or need further assistance. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/76652%20Rev.%20G.pdf Best regards, Edward

How do you remove this cap to adjust the temperature.

I am afraid to break the plastic hook or snap
Asked by: Abby
Hi Abby, Thank you for your question. If you need to remove the handle or adjust the Rotational Limit Stop, remove the cover by prying it off at the tip. The finished cover simply snaps onto the knob. Best regards, Jon

I have a Dyson bathtub faucet. And an RP46463 dual control valve cartridge. My temperature knob feels loose or wobbly. It appears to be snapped all the way on. Is there a replacement for the temp knob? Dyson or universal?
