Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP75441BL Temperature Knob and Cover. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help!
The temperature knob itself will connect directly to the valve assembly cartridge with a Phillips head screw. The Cover will then snap firmly on top of the knob by first hooking the tab in the front into the groove on the front of the knob.
