Q&A

Hi - I think my aerator is clogged. It's a brand new faucet. We have model # 567LF, 4 new ones but one definitely has a lower flow. Do I need a special tool to remove the aerator ? It looks like I remove 2 torx screws, but then what ?

Asked by: Todd
Thank you for your question, Todd! The aerator can be cleaned from the outside with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water, but it is not recommended to remove it and this tool will not work for this model. The flow restrictor, however, may be blocked with debris and is located below the cartridge assembly. Please refer to page 9 of the Installation Instructions for help accessing this part. Once the cartridge is out, use a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove the restrictor and then flush the faucet. Below is a link to our How-To Video for flushing the faucet. https://www.deltafaucet.com/cms/render/live/en/sites/delta/home/video-gallery/video-page.html?videoId=wWM-HK3si5k Best regards, Edward

How do I remove the old aerator and install the new one? I have this kit already. Thanks.

Asked by: JBro
Hi, JBro! Thank you for your question. To remove the aerator, first unscrew the set screw on the back of the end of the spout. Use the tool to pull the aerator straight out. Here is a link to the Maintanence and Instruction manual. The instructions will be on page 6, step 4: https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/86651%20Rev%20C.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna

what is the part number just for the aerator on KIT# RPT 75463?

Asked by: TONY
Thank you for your question, TONY! The RP75463 kit does not break down into individual parts. The entire kit will be needed. Best regards, Edward

How do you use this tool? Is there any way to get the aerator out of an Ara without a special tool? The Ara 567LF-SSMPU faucet came with no tool or instructions. Can you give me a link to a manual?

Asked by: David1001
Hi, David! Thank you for your question. The RP75463 is a tool to remove the aerator from model number T3567LF, not the 567LF-SSMPU. To remove the aerator on the 567LF-SSMPU, we recommend to pull the aerator straight down by hand. Best Regards, Rosanna

Good morning Hfrantz! Thank you for your question! To remove the aerator from this faucet, you will grab it with tweezers, and gently pull until it releases from the faucet. Please contact us back for any further questions. Best Regards, Frank
