I have a pot filler model 1165LF. The first valve is not closing completely allowing some water to come through. Is there something I should do to correct this or do I need to replace the cartridge.

Our Delta Faucet Metal Lever Handle Kit W/ Valve Cartridge - Pot Filler In Chrome MODEL#: RP76953 could be clogged with debris, causing the cartridge to not seal properly when closed. Our recommendation would be to turn the water off, remove the cartridge and soak it in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. If this does not fix the issue, the cartridge would need replaced. After 6 years, our pot filler is starting to leak. I need to replace the valve cartridge. Can I get the valve cartridge model #?  I don’t need to replace the handle.

I have tried to remove the handle by pulling it towards me. I have used significant force, but it will not budge. I understand that I need to remove the handle to access the cartridge. I am unable to remove the handle. Any suggestions?

Actually, Delta continues to give false information.  Very frustrating.  I finally figured it out on my own.  You must remove the lever, then the set screw is in the lever hole.  Delta reps should know this.

1165LF-AR my delta pot filler is leaking at cartridge and pivot points can I get the cartridges without handle and in specks I do not see o rings replacement at pivot points ,I'm original purchaser, can I get a complete replacement if pivot points cannot

How do I remove the cartridge? Do I need a special tool? When I use a wrench, it'ts so tight that it does not turn.

I have a delta 1165lf wall mount pot filler which I have just installed. The first valve (RP76953) is not closing completely water leaks by.  Could this be caused by dirt in the valve. Can I purchase just the valve cartridge if so what is the prt#

This could be from debris in the cartridge itself. The cartridge is not orderable by itself, but only as the RP76953 assembly. I have reached out to you via email so we can help get this fixed. To take the lever off, I had to unscrew the lever then use an Allen wrench to loosen the set screw. Then I was able to pull the lever cover off to get to the cartridge. If you just use force to pull it off you’ll probably damage the whole pot filler.
