How do you replace the Temperature control knob cover?

Asked by: Shonna
Dear Shonna, Thank you for your question. To remove the Delta Temperature Cover and Knob RP77164, you would grab the edges of the dial cover and pull outwards. The front temperature cover will just pop off. Best regards, Tanya

The temperature control knob fell off when adjusting the temperature and now it will not stay on. I can get it to click on, but any movement to right or left and it slides back off. Is there a special trick?

We installed the Delta Ashlyn shower trim. The temperature control cover, after snapping onto the temperature knob, doesn't sit flush on top of the volume control handle, leaving about a 1/8 inch gap. Do you have some gasket or a way to fill the gap?

I have part number RP77164. How do I attach the cover? There is no screw. The problem is that it falls off when in use. I have two showers both with this ‘push on’ cover.
