I have a single handle kitchen faucet, model 106557.  It began only having cold water.  Bought replacement valve, part 77338.  Now I have only hot water.  And temperature lever reversed - now hot on bottom, cold on top????

Does this RP79578 Euro motion with pin replace the RP73000?  The RP73000 has been a loose fitting cartridge that allows too much motion of the faucet handle.

Hi Bob47, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP79578. We don't recommend this cartridge as a replacement for RP73000. The RP79578 was used in faucets before 2016.
