Adequate and priced well, but why do I need it?
This replacement kit comes with an installation and removal tool and adequate instructions for use, as well as three replacement rings. It was not easy to remove my swollen and distorted ring, but it was easy to install the new one. But why did I have to replace it after only a year of use? A plastic and magnetic mounting ring to dock the faucet receives only moderate force in use, yet after a year it was so distorted the sprayer head would no longer dock. This replacement kit is widely available from Delta, Amazon, and plumbing supply houses, and comes in a pack of three, which tells me that these magnetic rings are defective, don't stand up to normal use, and will have to be replaced often. If I had known this before I bought my Delta faucet, I'm pretty sure I would have made another choice. At least I am set for the next two years, giving me time to look for a better quality kitchen faucet.

Easy Repair of Addison Touchless Magnet Spray Head
Using the enclosed orange tool per the enclosed instructions, the removal and replacement of magnetic ring on touchless faucet was quite easy. The spray head now snaps in tight as it did when new. Hopefully the replacement magnet lasts at least as long as the original (6 years). Hopefully the additional rings in the package can be used years from now.

Why do we have to buy multiple orange tools?
The magnet ring included in RP80977 is not robust in the scenes it rusts quickly and breaks into pieces over 1.5 year based on my experience. So I needed to replace the magnet ring three times over 5 years, resulting in buying RP80977 twice over 10 years. Now, I need another magnet ring, but I have no choice other than buying RP80977 that includes an orange removal/installation tool. I've already got two removal/installation tools. Why do I need another one? Why would Delta not cell just a magnet ring? In my opinion, it's just a waste of bulky plastic. I really hope that one day Delta becomes more aware of what's going on (e.g., the issue of plastic waste) in the world we live.

Easy Repair Kit
While I'm disappointed that the magnet ring rusted out in my faucet in less than five months, I have to at least give Delta credit for providing a repair kit to easily replace the part (and it was free since it was under warranty). It took 5 minutes to pop the old ring out and put the new one in and the sprayer now sits flush like it did when new. Also want to shout out Delta customer service - was very easy to communicate through email and on the phone to quickly get the repair kit ordered

Life Changing!
I've had the faucet for around 6 year and love it. For about a year, i could tell the magnet wasn't working properly. it wouldn't stay connected and it looked all rusted out. i tried a few things to clean it or whatever and nothing worked. I stumbled across this product (LUCKILY!), and almost didn't buy it because of the reviews. i then found this video on how to install it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLk3K5cNq0I) and thought i'd give it a try. while i'm not happy that the original magnet failed (i took it off and it was totally corroded), it LITERALLY took me 5 minutes to install the new magnet and the faucet is LIKE NEW again!!! I can't even tell you how frustrating it's been for me and my wife (the kids didn't seem to care...) to have this great (expensive) faucet just sitting there, mocking us by always hanging an inch or 2 off where it should be. Life it funny, because having it fixed now changes the whole vibe in the kitchen. I can't tell you how happy i am to have this.
As an aside, i purchased this product. In the video, they mention that Delta offers a lifetime warranty on the product and will give it to you for free if you call them. I wish i had done that since it'd save around $50 (ever dollar counts these days). It would be nice if i was refunded but this is worth it either way. Plus, you get 3 magnets, so figure you might have to replace it every 3-5 years maybe...
i included a pic of it, post replacement. you can see, like new! I wish i'd taken pix before so you could see the rusted out, broken into bits old magnet, but if you're on this site, reading this review, you know EXACTLY what that looks like....

Tool doesn't work
So the corrosion on my magnet was so bad that the threaded portion that goes into the faucet wand couldn't be unscrewed. This cracked and made it impossible to take the head off to perform the work. Having to replace the whole faucet wand I took the opportunity to use the orange tool to take the magnet off. It snapped off and got lodged in the faucet neck. This required me to take the entire faucet off to remove the piece of the tool that was stuck. Thankfully, I had a replacement faucet wand but this took about an hour and a half to install because fishing it through the faucet is a pain. Actually getting the magnet off was only feasible with a pair of channellock pliers. What should have only been a 10-15 minute turned into about 2 hours.

The Magnet Doesn't Allow the Sprayer to Sit Flush
Delta's customer service is absolutely fabulous. (Here's looking at you, TIM!!) I would give him five stars ALL DAY LONG!! He is THE BEST!! However, regarding the replacement part...that gets one star, but only because it's functional. The hole in the replacement magnet is smaller than the original that rusted. As such, the sprayer does not sit flush against the faucet neck. Since that is the only replacement part, I guess I must live with it, as it is functional (i.e., the sprayer is held in place). However, the faucet just does not look as aesthetically pleasing as it did when it was purchased. Also, the part of the magnet that fits into the hole on the back of the faucet neck broke (snapped at the neck) during the first attempted installation (it is plastic). I guess that is why three are provided in the kit. Given the experience, if I ever have to replace the faucet again, I do not know if it will be (or if I will recommend) a Delta brand faucet. Once again, Delta, I expected better quality control for your parts.

Rusted Magnet
I purchased my faucet just a little over a year ago, and just recently noticed the fixture head not sitting correctly. Come to find out the magnet was rusting and prevented it from retracting fully. Disappointed a faucet this expensive would rust in such a short time, but more upset at the cost of the replacement parts!

Rusting Wand Retainer
After only a short time, the wand retainer has rusted. This is such an expensive faucet - the parts should not be rusting so quickly. Now that I have finally found the replacement part, I am even more disappointed to see how expensive it is.

Dissapointed in rusting
Am somewhat surprised that dissimilar metals are used that accelerate rusting of the magnet. I would have expected that for the quality and cost of a Delta product this would be the case on a faucet subjected to continuous proximity to water and detergents/cleaning products.
