Do not buy
Like all the other 1 star reviews, this aerator is horrible. Had one of 2 plug up. Couldn't remove it with the slot or the tool. Ended up destroying the aerator, only to find out you can't find one. While I was trying to remove aerator I must have disturbed something in the stem o-ring seal that I can't get repaired and now the faucet is ruined. All this for a poor designed aerator. The other 3 year old faucet aerator will not come out either. When that one plugs up I will be replacing them with anything but that style and it's not going to be a Delta.

The flux capacitor of faucet aerators
Well, this aerator is definitely a one of a kind...and not in a good way. "One of a kind" meaning that it is unique in size and can, apparently, only be purchased through delta. You can get it on Amazon but not without purchasing a dozen aerators that you can't use. I've tried Ace Hardware, Lowe's, Home Depot and plumbing supply warehouse and there isn't a Danco or any other aftermarket brand that makes a replacement for this filter due to the thread placement and the thin profile of the aerator itself. Then there is removal - the keyhole removal slot is a trap and the notches for the removal tool are very fragile... DO NOT try to remove this using the key slot. It will break every time. Unfortunately, once you get it in there (If you are able to line the threads properly) it only takes a small amount of sediment to clog it so be prepared for frequent removal...and remember; frequent removal of ANYTHING plastic, will ultimately result in its replacement. I don't like cheap products, but I hate products like this with unique designs that cannot be repaired without forking out $15 for something that should cost less than $5.

low water flow after one year.
I love the faucet! But I bought an aerator in November of last year after the faucet was only a year old. I didn’t realize they had a lifetime warranty on parts. Now a year later, I’ve had to buy another aerator. I forgot about the lifetime warranty, so I’ve asked for a refund. I bought two of them

Water flow is horrible!
We bought two of these for a bathroom remodel. The volume/flow of water is pathetic and so bad it’s almost not functional when trying to soak a washcloth in order to shave. The aerator aka flow restrictor has the appearance of flat tip screwdriver slot to remove. Do not use a screw driver! You will destroy it. Horrific design to appease the govt to not use water while also selling cheap plastic aerators and cheap plastic tools required to remove them. You have lost a long term delta faucet supporter.

Poor design
The aerator was broken in my 3 y/o Sandover faucet when a plumber tried to remove it. II called a plumber because it was clogged and I couldn't remove it to clean it. The plumber tried and said that it was cross threaded. It must have been that way from the factory because I had never touched it. It disintegrated upon removal. To make matters worse the price for a replacement is outrageous.

Questionable compatibility
3rd time to replace aerators in Sandovar faucets. As others have noted design is awkward and if cross threaded once, that's it. Now have one sink working, the one next to it not. If have to replace faucet will likely go to different model or manufacturer.

Great faucet, low water flow though.
I needed to replace the aerator, I could not put back without cross threading it, I bought two more from Delta (this site) cross threaded each of those. I am now buying two more. The angle in which they are to be installed is such that they cross thread very easily so this time I call a plumber and pay him to do it. I know my limits, this is it.

Terrible
Expensive plastic garbage that no one else manufactures and no one local to me carries in stock. I’ve spent hours and multiple trips to the hardware store trying to find one locally since the aerators in both sinks broke in place when trying to remove. The faucets are only a little over 3 years old. When it comes time to replace these faucets I will certainly never buy a model that requires these aerators and I will hesitate to buy anything made by delta faucet.

Difficulty in cleaning and reinstalling
I decided to clean out the strainer and could get it screwed back in with the key originally supplied. I somehow got it cross treaded in there and now it's torn up and stuck in the spout ordered a new strainer part but haven't figured out how the get the old part out. Maybe I nee3d whole new faucet at this point.

Never Received Order
I purchased an aerator on April 5th, which stated 5-7 days for delivery. I then received an email saying it would take longer. It’s May 30, and I have still not received the product or an email stating an update. It’s only a $10 part but Delta customer service is pathetic.

Price gouging
They sell the faucet in Home Depot but you can’t get the replacement aerator in the store. Most all similar aerators are $6 in the store. But Delta charges almost 2x plus shipping. Bad policy to price gouge.

I have well water and have grit that over time will clog the water flow somewhat. Any suggestions as to cleaning the grit from this?

Will this fit the Portwood 2 handle bathroom faucet?

This is a replacement aerator for the widespread Portwood model 35770LF.
For the centerset Portwood model 25770LF, a replacement aerator is RP91142-1.2.
