Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problem: Ara widespread bathroom faucet aerator How do you clean the aerator to my Ara widespread bathroom faucet??? There is no instructions or videos anywhere. Is there a schematic to help at the very least? Water flow has slowly gotten worse in the 2 years of building my house. Now its at the point where just a trickle of water is coming out. Please help ASAP. After reading the reviews I know I'm not the only one who is discouraged after paying this amount for your faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive aerator, Ara lav faucet has lousy flow I agree with the other reviews. Expensive faucets, lousy water flow. Expensive aerators too and at least my faucets did not come with a tool or instructions for cleaning or removing the aerator. The instructions in the box describe a completely different —round — aerator. Is there a good reason to have re engineered the aerator? So I can’t run it without the aerator to test where the issue is, because I can’t remove the aerator. I have two of these faucets. Both are lousy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Water Flow. Never buy this brand again! The water flow is ridiculous, especially for the price of these faucets. I replaced 3 faucets, during a recent remodel, and would never buy this brand again based on the poor design. I tried to remove the Aerator RP90059, thinking the water flow would be to my satisfaction, but all it did was spray water all over the bathroom. The Design Engineer behind this product must work for the competition.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away at all costs. Expensive garbage. Terrible product. I agree with previous reviews; water flow is the worst ever and splashes all over - counter, mirror, without good flow. Over priced. Changing out for one that functions. Please don't call me a loyal Delta customer. Based on this experience, I will never buy Delta again. These came with a new-build house and the builder has been inundated with complaints.

Q&A

How is this removed for cleaning?

Asked by: confused
Confused, Thank you for your question. The aerator is not designed to be removed from the spout as any debris large enough to get caught will be trapped by the flow restrictor first. The flow restrictor is inside the valve below the cartridge and can be removed with a pair of needle nose pliers. The How-To video linked below will show you how to remove the cartridge. https://www.deltafaucet.com/video-gallery/video-page-1?videoId=wWM-HK3si5k The bottom of the aerator can be cleaned by soaking it using a cloth saturated with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution. Is there a video or instructions for how to check and clean the flow regulator on the 3567 thanks

Asked by: Ht555
Hi Ht555, Thank you for your question! We apologize this information was not readily available to you, we are happy to help! To clean the regulator on Delta Faucet 3567 please follow the instructions below. There is no video to show this process. 1. Please grab a bowl, washcloth, and distilled white vinegar. 2. Mix a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and warm water. 3. Drench the washcloth in the 50/50 mixture and wrap it around the spout. 4. Soak this for a few hours, grab a soft toothbrush and gently scrub where the regulator is. This will also help clear up any debris or buildup that is persistent. 5. You can also soak this overnight by grabbing a zip-lock bag, pouring 50/50 in the bag, and tying the bag around the spout. Please note that vinegar fumes are what break down debris/calcium and mineral buildup.
