Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design and customer support Customers have been complaining about this part failure for over 5 years and your response is that you are committed to quality and do rigorous testing. Have you done anything to address this issue?? Mine failed a few years back and I just live with a wobbly faucet. You should at least be giving the $1 part away for free to address the issue and show your commitment to quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Guaranteed to Fail!! Plastic part intended to support heavy metal faucet. Thoughtless design guaranteed to fail. I have replaced this part twice over a two year period of time. Clearly no one of authority at Delta actually uses this expensive faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad design; disappointed This part failed after a couple of years. This was a very expensive faucet and I'm really disappointed. I guess I'll start buying two at a time now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delta Trinsic faucet part replacement Unfortunately I had to replace this part after 1 year and 3 months on a $500.00 kitchen faucet. Delta sends an electronic standard response with regard to reviews on their website that basically states “we’re sorry”. The part is plastic and should have been designed in metal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Re: My Review for RP90234 Agree with other reviews. I purchased the Trinsic Faucet less than 2 years ago and the part has failed. I just ordered a replacement part. Poor quality design. I have been told over the years by plumbers to only get Delta products because of their longevity. I am not convinced.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I agree with Thomas Thomas is 100% right. Classic example of a super expensive product failing because of a plastic part. Frank, although the "friction spacer" was not designed to support the weight of the faucet handle, when the nozzle is released from the magnetic catch, that's exactly what it is doing. So clearly, yes, it was not designed to be weight-bearing, which is why it fails. Inexcusable for a faucet that cost several hundred dollars. Poor design.
