Is there supposed to be a washer on the hose tip that screw on to the wand handle or a washer inside the bottom of the wand itself?

Can a delta head get cloged up.

How is the aerator replaced in this unit? Thank you.

Hi Brian, Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet RP92442SS. The spray assembly does not need a wrench to remove the aerator. We recommend soaking the wand in 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinsing. This will dissolve mineral deposits that may be making the aerator difficult to remove.
