Old parts replacement solutions
Moved into a new location of 1970s vintage
Finding solutions to old parts problems wasn't easy. Rebuild redesign update all recommendations. But with the help of competent problem solvers here I was able to find a reasonably priced solution. Not exactly the same but close enough to meet the functional need.

Why No Polished Gold ?
We returned this connector. The polished gold one that was on our old shower hose was able to be reused, thankfully. No polished gold colored piece to match all of our other bathroom accessories and shower fixture pieces was available.

Can I buy just the plastic clip for the U400?
We have a number of the adjustable shower heads in locker rooms and the plastic clip tends to break.

Does this work with 58480-PK?
Does it have filter and water restrictor?

Thanks for your question! The 58480-PK is a shower arm connected hand shower. This pin mount would not work and you would need to install the 58480-PK directly to your shower arm.

What model of hand shower would connect to this? Seems one needs a hand shower with a male connector?
Do you have a similar one with he metal pin holder. We use the plastoc one but it constantly breaks at a long term care facility. If I could somehow find the product that is all metal it would be greatly appreciated

I've been looking to replace this part in my shower and this is the correct part, I was curious if the chrome version is all metal or if it is just a paint/finish on top of plastic.

Our showerheads and hand showers use a compression gasket for 1/2" connections. Replacement gaskets are available as part number 4959BG.
