Misleading title.
The brackets are fine but the word universal is a little misleading. They are not universal in the sense of allowing any showerhead to fit in them. They will only take certain Delta showerheads that are in the “universal“ model family. It would’ve been nice if I had known that before I purchased it. It would be even nicer if the challenged customer service representatives that I spoke with knew that as well.
I ended up having to switch the Moen handheld showers that I purchased, which do not have a wall bracket to fit them, with Delta “universal “hand held shower. And since the moens were both installed, I can’t return them.

solid stuff but be careful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. Except you need to note that it is only for holding your shower head and not for supplying water to the shower head - for the latter, you need to get another similar looking product that has a connecting opening at the bottom.

Sturdy Enough
I bought this to hold the handheld shower of Delta H2O In2itioN handheld when it's not on the dock. I'm 5'0 short so it is difficult to reach to the dock when I want to use the handheld shower function without this mount. I installed it on the tiles grouts and it really holds up well. Had I known that installation is easy, i would have bought a bar mount so that I can adjust the height of the handheld shower.

Very good, heavy duty
This was exactly what I needed for the heavy Oxygenics showerhead I have in my RV shower. It's a heavy duty holder, attaches securely and is watertight. Good product!

Mounting options for U4005-RB-PK on ceramic tile
When mounting to ceramic tile, can this time be mounted with Silicone adhesive or epoxy rather than drilling and using screws?

Rather than the anchors, can I use longer screws into wooden supports that are behind tile and wedi board? We are remodeling and have all the studs exposed so we can add sturdy studs where the wall mount would be placed.

Trying to figure out the best mount for a hand held shower...
I have a hand held shower, but I do not like it because of the color and style. I want to get a new one to match my other Venetian Bronze Delta faucets in the bathroom. My shower already has a regular shower head, and a rain shower head so I do not need the hand held to act as a shower head (sticking out from the wall and angling down). Is it even possible to purchase a Venetian Bronze Delta hand held shower that does not angle out and down from the wall? I want a very short, straight, (up and down) mount so that my hand held does not stick out too far from the wall. If this is not the correct mount, which part would I need to purchase, and which hand held do you think would stick out the least?

This mount looks oil rubbed bronze and not venetian bronze since it has the copper colored ring at the base. Which is it?

this was installed a little too high for me--is there an extension elbow which would attach between the wall pice and the nut/bracket to lower it slightly--I cannot find anything to fit this size-

Can I use this with 58472-SS?
I know 58472-SS is a shower arm mount, but it has the hand-held with it; Can I use this adjustable wall mount to hold the hand-held part while I'm sitting on a shower bench so I don't have to hold the hand-held part or leave it 'dangling'?

I purchased the adjustable wall mount U4005-PK and the hand shower. The wall mount can not support the weight of the hand shower. I have tightened as tight as I can and the mount points down when the hand shower is place on the mount. How do you resolve?

Our hand shower mounts fit the cone-shaped nut used by our hand shower hoses. The diameter of the nut is about 7/8" and widens to 1".

Can anyone tell me the actual measurements of "C" shaped opening of the showerhead holder, both flared and tapered sides? I need to know which kind of hose fitting I can use while not having to be forced too much and yet will fit snugly; thanks!

Our shower head is always ganging downward due to the black plastic washer behind the nut was cracked and does not allow tightening to keep the holder upright. Is there a way to get a replacement washer?

Can I purchase just the mount and the black piece with the nut that the show head fits onto. Mine will no longer stay tight so my shower head no longer will stay screwed tight and hold up shower handle any more.

Is there an option now for an adjustable wall mount for a hand shower in Polished Brass? I do not see one. The U4005 and U4010 in PB are discontinued.
