This Classic shower only faucet is as hard working as you are and is built to last. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, then easily restarts the water with the temperature where you left off. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Qualitty After having the base installed behind the shower surround, we found the handle was messed up and couldn't thread the screw in to hold it on. Couldn't wait for the new one (on back order) so bought another handle so we could use it. Then the cartridge was bad and wouldn't let cold water come through. Bought another one so we could shower. Delta is sending a new handle and cartridge, but I couldn't wait 2 weeks, so I've now paid for it twice. Waiting to hear if Delta will refund my money.

In this process, I discovered that with the Delta brand, the instructions made things simple. When I got to a point that I didn't understand, I call their support line and got the information I needed. Now I am looking forward to remodeling our other bathroom next. I love their products. The quality is top notch and just feels solid in your hands. Our new bathroom shower looks great too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved the feature to adjust the hot Temperature. I bought this two months ago for our new Ceramic walk in Shower. It is completed and we love the shower and the new shower head and valve. My wife said it was not getting hot enough. I remembered that it had adjustments Simple allen screw to lossen and remove the control handle. Then pull the adjustment out to turn the temp up. Run water into cup and check temp. a couple test adjustments and I had it dialed in for 120 degrees with handle full on. That is the recommended max temp from Plumbers Association. Easy! Reinstall handle.

We have hard well water and it started dripping after 9 years. It was a pain to get out but we'll worth out efforts. The kids take longer showers now instead of running through it as if they were on fire.

What size hole should I drill in my Delta Classic 400 shower for the Delta 132900-A water valve?

Thank you for your question, ChrissyD! We did not make a 400 series shower but you are most likely referring to the 1400 series which will not require any extra steps. If this is an older 1400 series shower valve, please use the original cartridge that you have installed as the new 13/14 multichoice series cartridge will not fit the older valve body. If you do not have a 1300/1400 series shower, then the information needed to install this model can be found on the maintenance and installation manual for the rough in valve R10000-UNBX. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R10000-UNBX Best regards, Edward

I purchased a 132900A shower valve.  How do I adjust the water temperature to get more hot water

Just had this shower head installed when remodeling bathroom. It seemed fine first day but now it constantly drips. Could I get some pointers for trying to get the dripping to stop. Even drips when shower head is off

Hi, Rockies4sure! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. If the faucet leaks, we do recommend to flush the valve to make sure no debris is caught inside that maybe causing the issue. To flush: first tun the water off at your water supply. Remove the handle, remove the sleeve assembly, unscrew the bonnet nut. Pull the cartridge assembly straight out. The cartridge can be cleaned by rinsing this out thoroughly in another sink. Once everything is removed, turn the water supply back on. This will flush the water straight through the open valve body. Keep this on for a good 30-45 seconds. Turn the water off and reinstall parts. If this does not solve the issue, the seal kit, RP4993, may need to be replaced within the valve cartridge assembly. I purchased the 132900A shower valve from my local Home Depot about a month ago, new the bathroom, new shower. The water flow is terrible, only one light level flow. Hot/cold level is fine. How can the water prrasure be adjusted?

Thank you for your question, Alhambraman! I'm sorry to hear you are not getting a full flow rate and we would be happy to help further. Please know this is a WaterSense labeled model designed to produce 1.75 gpm @ 80 psi. If you are not getting this flow rate, we would suggest checking the valve body for screwdriver stops on either side. If your valve does include these stops, please make sure they are in the full "open" position. We would also recommend flushing the valve body of any debris may help remove any potential blockages.
