While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, then easily restarts the water with the temperature where you left off. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible installation instructions We purchased this tub/shower set for a complete renovation. Home Depot said this was the set to use. Instructions do NOT cover enough steps to complete an installation. No mention of dimensions for holes for the control unit, tub spout, or shower spout. I was told at Home Depot I would not need a wall on the drain end of tub, everything kng would line up fine. Not so! I was told there was an installation video at "deltafaucet.com/video." Not so! I was told the instructions are in layman's terms. Not so! If I ever get this installed I sincerely hope it works better than I am now expecting!

Does the Delta Chrome Model #134900-A either come with or is compatible with the 1700 series cartridge?

Hi, Steve! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor 134900-A Tub and Shower Faucet is not compatible with the RP32104 Valve Cartridge Assembly from the Delta 1700 Series. The cartridge assembly for the unit is RP46074. Best Regards, Rosanna

What is the flow rate of the tub faucet?

We installed the 134900-A and we are ha omg trouble with the water getting hot in that shower. The handle only turns 45 degrees but looks like it should go further.

i have a 134900-a shower mixer.when i turn on the faucit all the way on hot it is mixing cold water in. Is there an adjustment?

Is a chrome sleeve available (RP39407) that would be 3/4" to 1" longer? The plumber was mistakenly told that 1/2" drywall would be behind the surround. Sleeve doesn't fit into the escutcheon plate with spacer. Without spacer, plastic by handle shows.

Thank you for your question, Jim44! The RP39407 sleeve used on this model is 3" long. The RP22735 trim sleeve is 3 1/2" long and will work in place of the included trim sleeve. How do you remover the bonnet (page 4)

Hi, Robert! Thank you for your question. To remove the bonnet assembly fro the Delta Monitor 134900-A Tub and Shower Faucet, first turn the water off at the shut off valve. Remove the set screw with a 1/8" Allen wrench to remove the handle assembly. Remove the sleeve assembly and unscrew the bonnet nut counterclockwise from the valve body. Should I caulk around tub spout and escutcheon of control handle? Anywhere else?

However, you may use a thin bead of silicone around the back of the tub spout or the escutcheon plate to help ensure a water-tight seal. Please be sure to leave a weep hole at the bottom when where silicone is used. Best regards, Jon
