Not only is my shower cold as ice, as I’m u able to turn the faucet all the way to hot, but today, the handheld shower doesn’t even run anymore. I came to the manufacturer site hoping I’d be able to find a demonstration video, and was disappointed. I wouldn’t buy anything from this brand again in hindsight.

Now, the switch on the handheld doesn't work after less than 5 months installed. The switch doesn't change the water flow so I can use the massage feature. It's stuck in standard flow mode. I hope it can be replaced. Otherwise, it's now useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic parts that break easily The fitting that is on the shower head that attaches to the shower arm is made out of plastic. With simply hand tightening and screwing on to the shower arm, the plastic piece cracked and split. Looking at the parts listed, this specific piece cannot be purchased separately. It's a complete waste of money and now I have a bran new shower head that cannot be used. I've even tried searching for aftermarket parts but no one seems to carry the specific fitting to replace.

Never even took a shower before it broke! Never buy this terrible product.

I bought Delta because I thought it would be quality and I wouldn't have to mess with it for years to come. I have a cheap Walmart head that is similar in one of my other bathrooms that has been installed and problem free for e years now. Sad to see this kind of quality from Delta. Used to be the gold standard.

Where can I find just the handle and cover for a replacement

There's no filter screen in the shower head underneath the gasket where it connects to the wall. I remember seeing the filter screen on the older models, is it supposed to be there on the 142747-BL-I as well? I don't see it in the parts list either.

I am installing a 142747-BL-1 Shower Faucet. Packaged with the shower arm is an O-ring (RP2333) and plastic ring (RP29569) but nothing in the instructions shows how they are suppose to be installed.

We just installed as part of a full remodel and the water flow out of shower head is very weak. All other faucets vanity and tub have plenty of pressure. Is there a flow restrictor in this model?

Dear Jim A, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! Low flow is caused by a blockage or debris, and we would recommend flushing. To flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below. 1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either an 1/8" or 3/32" allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend to do this the night before removing the handle. 2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. 3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks. 4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out. 5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body. 6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds. 7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. The Tub/Shower should then have a good flow. If it does not, the cartridge will need to be replaced. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance. Can I keep the valve and cartridge, and only replace the 1.75 GPM shower head with a 2.5 GPM shower head and get the full 2.5 GPM of the new shower head ?  Or will I need to replace the Valve or Cartridge in order to get the full 2.5 GPM flow?

I removed the handle to increase the hot water temperature, when putting set screw back in the threads stripped with removal so I’m unable to attach the handle back. I need a new handle.

We have had this shower head for less than a year.  My son just used it and pressed the button on the smaller, movable head and now when you press the button again, the flow won’t go back to what it was.  Is there a way to reset this button?

The hand wand does not work. Water flows through the hose leading up to the head, but does not come out of the head. We just purchased model FT205CO from Home Depot. Is there a plug that needs to be removed? Why won't it work?

The model 142747-BL-I comes with the valve but do not need to replace the old valve in the wall. It also comes with a new cartridge that will not fit inside the old valve. We have a brand new shower head and aside from the outside shower head, water only comes out of the center of the handheld part and we can’t find a way to adjust the spray. Please advise.

I am installing this shower head and handle and I can't get the water to turn off in any position on the handle setting. I have looked at the cartridge, followed the directions and reinstalled, but water flow is constant. Is the brand new cartridge bad?
