Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never buy - ABS overpriced junk. The handheld spray pattern button doesn't work. It is an ABS plastic junk. The button doesn't change the spray pattern and the plastic is very flimsy. Had I not bought the product with valve, I would have returned this in a heartbeat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive item-- CHEAP plastic that breaks & leaks I purchased this a few months ago in anticipation of a bathroom remodel. Today we did the install. It continued to leak. Upon tightening to reduce the leakage the plastic separated and began spewing water from the side. BRAND NEW and we can't use it. Garbage. This is very dissapointing. We purchased the whole bathroom in "Delta" and now we can't use the shower. The other items we purchased (glass, shower pan, etc) are all fine-- but THIS item is a huge dissapointment. AND CHEAP PLASTIC.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Delta product ever We have had this about 3 years now and it has leaked the whole time. The hose to the handheld has black flakes coming off, and the handheld button stopped working. Delta has sent us replacement parts, a new showerhead and recently a new cartridge because it continues leaking. Just don't buy this one. Our other Delta showers are great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke on first use! We just renovated our while house and purchased a new shower set for the master shower. My husband just took the first shower and was very disappointed. First, the water temperature never got past luke warm. He noted the handle to turn it on only rotates 90 degrees vs. 180 like most others. Then, he said there was water spraying out of the side of where the handheld part first connects to the hose. When he looked more closely at it, he noticed it was hanging by a thread. The hose completely broke off after that. What terrible construction! I wish we has read other customers’ reviews on this shower set before purchasing. We would have gone with something else.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Water flow low and hand set button broke The water flow is really low compared to the previous handset only we had used for years. We can only use the handset alone, not the halo in tandem with the handset. Handset alone concentrates what pressure or flow it produces to actually allow you to shower! Also, only using for 8 months and the butting on the handset to change type of flow broke so now we are stuck with the jet spray only.

Super disappointed as I would have expected this to last a lot longer. There’s a lot of plastic on this showerhead. My hope is delta will warranty this, but I’m not very confident.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE! I bought this from Home Depot thinking it would be a treat for myself. During only the 2nd shower the hand held wand fell from the main faucet head and the connection from the hose broke in half. It's plastic! I called Delta and asked for a replacement hose. Since this product is Matte Black, I thought it only natural that a replacement black hose would be sent. However, I received a mangled package that had clearly been a return since the packaging was opened and crumpled completely, and as if that wasn't irritating enough, the hose was SHINY CHROME STAINLESS STEEL. It doesn't match the faucet in the slightest. I took it upon myself to order a new hose from Amazon when I realized there was no way the CHROME would work with MATTE BLACK. So I become infuriated when I take the DELTA universal replacement hose off, only to find the plastic male connector from the shower head breaks off inside the replacement hose connector! This is by far the WORST Quality I've EVER encountered & yet I can't return it since it came with a valve and that valve is connected behind my new tile shower.

How to adjust to allow more hot water?

Which exact Allen key is needed to open the Hot/Cold handlebar? I have tried every possible combination but no use.  Trying to solve a drip small leak and assumed the cartridge needed to be replaced. it's installed at a new home in April 2021.

The set screw should use a 3/32" Allen wrench. For a drip or small leak, we recommend replacing the RP4993 seats and springs in the legs of the cartridge and checking the condition of the RP14414 lower o-rings on the legs. We have had this showerhead for 18 months and we love it. Is there a way to control the water pressure with this faucet? The one other issue is that the pause button has stopped working on the wand. I think the pressure is too high to work.

We just moved in and this shower head looks brand new.  The outside head works but no water from the inside head.  Do we need to replace this or replace the cartridge?

Hello LMscal, I am sorry that you are experiencing no water flow from the hand shower of your Delta Faucet 14 Series Shower With WaterSense In2ition Two-In-One Shower, model 142747-BL-I; however, I am happy to assist you. We recommend soaking the hand shower in a bowl or bucket with a 50/50 solution of white distilled vinegar and water. Please allow the hand shower to soak for a minimum of 45 minutes and a maximum of 60 minutes. Once the product has finished the soak - you will need to rinse it off thoroughly. Soaking the hand shower in the 50/50 solution allows for any possible debris to break down and deteriorate. When the possible debris deteriorates due to the 50/50 solution, your hand shower should have water flowing through it again! If this is not the case. Please do not hesitate to reach back out to us.
