The brushed nickel is always a great look, but also other finishes allow for you to make it your own. Can take your bathroom to the next level. Haven’t had any maintenance problems with it. Only wish I had remodeled the whole bathroom before installing. Just seems out of place until I upgrade around it.

Installing a Sandover shower faucet in my shower retailing remodel . I am also considering adding a Diverter for a rain head in the ceiling (also tile). Is sandover trim available for the Diverter?

Can you add a hand held shower hose component to this shower head.  Had it installed in a bathroom addition in January and now I am having hip surgery in October and need a shower handheld hose component

I have the sandover tub shower combo.  I used1/2”copper with one 90 degree fitting.  It is also 10” from center of the mixing valve to the center of the tub spout.  I am still getting backflow to the shower head when the tub is on.  How can I remedy this?

Hello! Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! We apologize our product does not meet your expectations! To avoid shower rise please refer to the list below. 1. There can be one of several reasons for shower rise 2. The valve could be upside down. 3. The length from the valve to the tub spout is outside of the 8" to 18" rule. 4. There is more than one 90-degree angle elbow. 5. Something other than ½" smooth copper or galvanized pipe was used going to the spout. No push fittings. No "shark-bite" fittings. No cast or drop ear elbows. 6. Something restricting the water flow to the spout, e.g. solder or something lodged in the pipe. If this is the cause of shower-rise it is possible to remove the blockage by removing the tub spout; then, feeding a plumber’s snake or a speedometer cable up through the tub drop. The act of feeding it causes it to twirl and loosen the blockage. Be sure to flush the valve before reinstalling the tub spout. Be sure to check the tub spout itself for blockage. A new shower cartridge will NOT fix this issue. The obstruction from the valve to the tub outlet must be remedied. We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly if you have further questions! I'm doing a self install and I only have the cold water turned on at the main ( just testing the water lines before closing up the wall). Does the multichoice valve prevent any water from passing through the valve?

I'm confused about 'Spotshield'. Are there 2 DIFFERENT Spotshields? (1) SpotShield that resists water spots and fingerprints & (2) SpotShield antimicrobials that resists odor? Or are they one & the same?

Just installed Delta Sandover collection in new tube and shower combo. The question I have is the tube spout has low water output. I noticed black plastic in the end of spout where water comes out. Should that be in there or should it have been removed?

If your current faucet is a Delta MultiChoice model, then this faucet can replace your current trim kit without changing the valve rough. We are installing a whirlpool tub with 50 gallon capacity and using the Sandover tub/shower trim 144874-SP. What is the flow rate of the tub spout for this trim?

Hello Scuba Steve! Thank you for your question. I am happy to help. The Delta Tub Spout will provide various flow rates, depending on the trim kit used and the PSI available to the home. At 60 psi, a 13/14 series, which is what you have, can produce up to 5.8gpm but at 80 psi this can go as high as 6.8 gpm. A 17 series can produce approximately 5.9 gpm to 6.8 gpm at these rates whereas the 17T trims can produce anywhere from 7.3 gpm to 8.5 gpm. Best Regards, Antoine

Is there a fixed aerator inside the shower head? Can the homeowner easily remove the aerator to clean or replace? I don't see an aerator in the parts diagram.

How do I determine if the valve installed in my home is a 13, 14, 17 or 17T series!

If your shower trim kit has a single handle that turns counterclockwise and gets hotter the further you turn it then you have a 13/14 series. A 17 series trim kit features an independent volume control with a smaller temperature handle on the top of it. The 17T series will appear the same cosmetically as the 17 series but if you remove the temperature dial you will see a brass cartridge stem. This thermostatic cartridge uses an internal filament to keep your temperature consistent and avoid pressure balance issues. Can I buy a replacement tub faucet by itself. The diverter on our sander brushed nickel tub faucet has gone out in just a few years. I don't want to buy the whole set, just the tub faucet and parts/accessories.

Have a streaming problem on a Sandover bathtub faucet... runs out around edges... see a plastic piece in the spout where it forces the water out around edges only... is it designed that way? or does the plastic piece need to be removed somehow?
