I love the look of this set; however when we installed it today I was so disappointed because the top of the shower-head that connects to the pipe is cheap, grey plastic that doesn’t match the champagne bronze finish. It is an eyesore. When I called Delta they told me it is how the shower head is made so it can be properly screwed into the pipe. It makes no sense at all because the black shower head that we installed in another bathroom is matte black throughout and is just fine. Delta refuses to send me a new shower head that matches and told me I needed to buy a new shower head after spending $300 on this one. All the pictures show a champagne bronze finish on everything.

It only took him 20 minutes to install, it was super easy and the directions were easy to follow. It makes my whole shower look great and upgraded. It matches my bathroom really well. The prices are made of great quality materials. This a great product in my opinion!

Is the spout made of plastic or metal?

Can I buy the part that goes around the handle that has the hot and cold part with the  red and blue diets on the opposed sides ? The guy installing mine hooked it up wrong and the only way to fix it is switch the plate.

Hi Rusty, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 144832-BL. Unfortunately, the escutcheon plate is not available with the hot and cold indicators reversed. For a reverse installation, flip the valve cartridge so the "hot side" of the cartridge is on the right. How do you stop water from coming out of the tub spout, therefore the water can come out of the shower head? I can't find any video or description about it? Also do you sell this style without the Rough In valve included?

Hi Tony, Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet 144832. The issue seems to be shower rise based on your description of the flow from the tub/shower, you are experiencing an issue known as shower rise. This is an installation issue, which has several possible causes. Please make sure that: 1. The valve body is right-side up. 2. The pipe for the tub spout drop is only 1/2" copper or iron pipe. 3. The tub spout is 8” - 18" from the valve body. 4. No drop-ear elbows or push-to-connect fittings are used. Only one 90 standard degrees copper or iron elbow should be used. 5. There is no blockage in the pipe (such as excess solder) or tub spout. Please feel free to contact us directly for technical information at 800-345-3358. The set screw that came with my sparrow tub/shower faucet set will not thread thru to make contact with diverter to engage properly.  The handle will not stay attached and comes off.  Unable to rotate handle properly.  Where can I find a new set screw?

I have Delta Monitor tub/shwr control. I purchased Model#: 144832-BL and it has its own plumbing diverter and cartridge. I do not want to tear out the old one. Is there a cartridge available for Model 144832-BL that will allow me to use my old diverter?
