Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frustrated! Built a new home have four Woodhurst faucets installed in the various bathrooms. On the hot water side of one of the faucets, there is a perpetual drip that I have tried to resolve short of replacing the cartidge because I cannot find a cartridge to replace (RP74418) at any of the local stores. Very frustrating that they cannot be found locally. If I recall correctly, product information indicates the cartridge should last 500,000 uses, we are no where near that! Home ws built 3 years ago and this has been going on for two of those three years to one extent or another. It is now worse, thus this review. All of the other faucets are working fine, put Delta in as we have had them in a number of homes without problems. At this point unable to locate a cartridge and at the cost of the catridge on this site, I'm inclined to replace the faucets in the master bath with another manufacturer.

Is the Woodhurst Chrome centerset two handle faucet a ceramic disc faucet? Is it lead-free? On most websites, it says it is lead-free but on Amazon, there is a Prop 65 warning.

Asked by: KitT
Hello KitT, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 2532LF-MPU Woodhurst® Bathroom Faucet In Chrome. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! This faucet uses a rotating stainless steel plate and rubber seats. Yes, this faucet meets or beats all state and federal lead-free requirements. A Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean a product is in violation of any product safety standards or requirements. Our products may use brass which contains, in small amounts, lead. A faucet model with Diamond Seal Technology (DST) will have a ceramic disc valve and be completely lead-free as the water never contacts metal inside the faucet. https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/innovations/kitchen/diamond-seal-technology Please reach out at customerservice@deltafaucet.com or 1-800-345-DELTA if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Is this waterproof? Is it guaranteed to prevent water from seeping under the faucet into the countertop holes below, or if water is left on the countertop or is splashed on to the fixture itself & gets into the stopper lever hole & damages the cabinet?

How do you remove the handles to change seat & spring on the Woodhurst Bath Faucet?

Asked by: Bob1628
Hello Bob1628, Thank you for your question! We apologize that the information you are searching for was not readily available. We realize that can be very frustrating and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. The Delta Faucet model 2532LF-MPU Woodhurst® Bathroom Faucet In Chrome handles can be removed by twisting them counterclockwise from the base adapter. We recommend flushing the supply lines to clear any debris before installing replacement parts. To flush the supply lines, first shut off the hot and cold water supplies. Then please loosen the handle screws using a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen wrench and pull the handles off. Using a wrench remove the nut holding the stems in the valve, then remove the stems, seats, and springs. Place a bucket over the open valves and guide it towards the sink to catch the water. Turn the supply lines on and run the water for about 2 minutes. Then put the parts back together and check the flow from the faucet. Please contact us back directly via email with any further questions. Best Regards, Skyler

What do I use to clean this faucet. I have it in the stainless Aka brushed nickel? Seems to me you can’t use the same products that you use to clean the sink maybe to harsh. Thanks!

Asked by: Afpc
Hello Afpc! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help! To clean the Delta Bathroom Faucet Model 2532LF-SSMPU, we recommend following the Cleaning and Care instructions in the manual of your faucet. Below is a link with common cleaning and care questions and the instructions on how to clean your faucet. https://www.deltafaucet.com/service-parts/frequently-asked-questions/cleaning-and-care Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes. Avoid bleach-based cleaners. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Thank you for being a loyal Delta customer. Best Regards, Carrie
