REVIEWS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rusted apart in 5 years Horizontal rod, part rp12517 on model 500-dst That raises and lowers the stopper rusted-broke in two after 5 years. Checked the other faucet on the other side of vanity and it was ready to fail also. Old delta faucets that were replaced were still good after 32 years. Poor product that is way over priced!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Buy this if you are NOT a plumber! I'm not a plumber and did not go to grad school to become one. However, Delta always makes a great product that anyone can install themselves...no teflon tape, but don't forget the vice grips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kids bathroom I got two of these for a kids bathroom, because I thought an inexpensive single handle would be the right choice. It is not what you would call elegant, but it is functional. I got this, mostly, because of Delta's good reputation, and lifetime guaranty. No problems so far in 2 years, hoping for at least 20 more!

Q&A

Is there a lift rod plug if someone doesn't want to use the pop ups at all but needs to cover where the lift rod was?

Asked by: Nick S
Thank you for your question Nick S. Unfortunately we do not offer a plug for the Classic series lift rod hole, however, you do not need to connect the lift rod to the strap, leaving the lift rod in place for decoration only. The model 500-DST does not have a lift rod hole and may be used in place of the other classic models if you do not need a pop up assembly. Best regards, Edward

WHAT IS A POP UP?

Asked by: JACKIE
Thank you for your inquiry, Jackie! A Pop-Up Assembly is also known as a drain assembly, it includes the stopper, in the sink that helps hold the water in the sink bowl. Please see page 2 of the below Parts Diagram link, for the Classic Lavatory 500-DST faucet. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-500-DST.pdf Best regards, Tanya

What does "Less-Pop Up" mean?

Asked by: Krisetn
Hi Kristen, Thank you for your question. Less pop up means that the faucet does not come with the pop up drain assembly that would install in your sink. The model 520-DST is the same faucet as the 500-DST but comes with the pop up drain assembly. Thanks, Dave

What is the difference between the 500-DST and the 501-DST?

Asked by: aaronforjesus
Hi, aaronforjesus! Thank you for your question. There is no difference between the 500-DST and the 501-DST. Pricing, parts, and features are all the same between each faucet. Best Regards, Rosanna
