Rated 1 out of 5 by from NEEDS ALOT OF IMPROVEMENT We use these faucets in our park restrooms, and they do not whole up very well. We have had problems with them leaking from bottom, we have had to replace a lot of the cartridges, and when we go to replace cartridges the chrome nut under the handle and the bonnet nut do not want to separate a lot of times. This is not a good faucet for commercial installation. They all have been installed with in the last three years

We have installed (7) of these faucets in our church over the past few years during remodeling, but out of the (7) there are only (3) of them that have not started leaking internally and down the hoses that are attached to these faucets by design. Out of the (4) that have been replaced in 2017, (2) of them have been replaced more than once. That being said I have replaced a total of (7) of them that developed these same leaking issues. Sometimes after several months, and at least one in less than one month. The good news is that the local distributor that I purchased these from keeps replacing them for us at no charge to us, but the bad news is I have to keep installing faucets.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2nd faucet in our facility to leak from inside cheap quality, was not expecting this from delta. we renovated 3 bathrooms in the plant, all using this same faucet, and this is the 2nd faucet to develop a leak from inside the faucet. it has plastic tubes coming out, that appear to be pushed up onto barbs, or maybe glued into place. Im not a fan of all of these new faucets coming out with plastic tubes versus the older style of hoses being installed to the faucet.

Does the 501 have a hole for pop up rod?

Hi Mutters, Thanks for contacting Delta Faucet Company! No, The 501-DST does not include a pop-up assembly. The models with -MPU, -PPU would determine if this unit includes a metal or plastic pop-up. Best Regards, Emma Digital Communications Specialist
