to use hot water which way should the handle be turned

Hello - are the sides (that go over the holes 4" apart) integral with the center section? In the picture, it looks like there's a joint between the side pieces and the center body, but that may be an optical illusion. Do you have any more pictures of it?

The faucet spec says max.1.2 gpm but there is an optional 1.5gpm aerator. So is the max 1.5gpm?

Dear Henry, Thank you for your question. The maximum flow rate of the Delta Classic Lavatory 520LF-WFMPU faucet model is 1.20 GPM at 60 PSI, because it comes with the 1.20 GPM aerator in it. The RP52216 is the 1.50 GPM aerator assembly that can be purchase separately, for this faucet, in some states. Best regards, Tanya

How do I shorten the supply lines?

What do I need to remove the aerator on the classic single handle bathroom faucet?

New house, Ive removed all the others with ease and cleaned them out which greatly improved water flow. I cant seem to remove this one. Im guessing I need a tool of some sort.

I am looking at the Chrome single handle faucets: 520-MPU-DST) has the DST (Diamond Seal Technology) and the other (520LF-WFMPU) does not. I think everything else is the same. Which is better and why?

Hi dbratt, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about, 520LF-WFMPU! Our products are built to the same Delta Faucet standards, which means no one faucet is better than the next. The main differences are: The supply lines changed from copper to PEX. Repair kit changed from ball, seats and springs to a DST cartridge. Spout length, I do not want a "tall spout" I want one that reaches away from back of sink bowl to wash hands without touching back of sink bowl.
