The strainer/water disperser blew out and needs replaced. 17 years old and all internal parts have been replaced recently. Strainer does not fit in a screw cap assembly which is all Lowes carries in stock. Need to replace a worn and popped out strainer

Is the fitting on end of faucet lines for PEX? I need shorter lines. It says to cut to right length. What is best way or tool to use to cut the two rigid plastic lines to go to supply line fittings? Have not dealt with this type of line before..
