AND the plumber had a terrible time trying to install the drain stopper!!!! Ya know the little tiny PULL. We ended up buying a pop up drain, much much easier!!!!

We looked for a faucet with a stream far enough out into the sink that my husband can put his head under it to wash his hair. I wanted this distance because the water will splash all over the back of the sink if the faucet is too short. So many faucets are too short. This single- handled faucet is easy to clean. Easy to mix the temperature. Streamlined for cleaning and modern look. We are very happy with the design and reliability of these faucets. Delta 538-MPU-DST. Make installer gives you the aerator wrench so you can clean the aerator.

It came with everything needed. It looks great, works great, is easy enough for my 5 year old to use regularly and without help, and was a quick easy way to turn the guest bath into the "fancy" guest bath.

The drain system works great stays in place when open or closed. Installation was very easy loved the tool connected to the water hose for easy connecting. The hot cold dots fell off after about two weeks only bad thing but can live with that. Like the finish but with our hard water shows some spots.

I was a little intimidated by all the pieces once I received it and thought I started a project that was to tough but I DID IT and it works and looks great. Installation was a breeze with the easy step by step instructions. And it's functioning perfect . I recommend this quality product to anyone that wants to add a new look or who wants to replace there old one as this is definitely a great faucet.

Super easy to install on my previous sink no extra parts required not did I need to call someone to do it . It fit just perfect very satisfied . Connectors were very easy to install. Little trouble installing the new drain but that was more of a tight fit on my end. Looks and feels very high end. It is a little loud when open wide but not a deal breaker.

It has the single handle (which is what I was looking for) and doesn’t sit too low to the sink, making it easy to wash my face without making a huge mess! My husband is a plumber on the side and likes the durability of the parts and the ease of installation.

I like the brushed gold finish because it does not show water spots. It looks fancy but it is affordably priced. I am very pleased with this single handle faucet.

The height is perfect, and it's not too low like others, that we had been considering. One thing I would like to mention however, is that the online photo of the champagne faucet definitely appears to be more of a brassy/gold color *in the stock photo*, but in real life the color is more accurate to the description, and it is definitely more of a champagne color- which I actually prefer the true, in person color, to be honest!

The instructions were really easy to follow, and the faucet was easy to install. After the faucet was in, it had great water flow and looks beautiful in my bathroom. I am very impressed with this faucet and I'm going to purchase one for my kitchen. I would recommend this Delta faucet!

I returned it to the store and they gave me another one. I installed that one and it too started to leak in November 2018. I am on city water, so that should not be a issue. I am going to buy a replacement, but not with a Delta. What a waste of money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleek and attractive Just had this professionally installed last week; two more being installed in master bathroom soon. It looks sleek, is attractive, and works great. The one thing that doesn't really gel with me is that in the off position, the handle is asymmetrically deviated to the user's right. The plumbers tried to adjust it and reduced the crooked appearance quite a bit, but it still doesn't have a perfectly symmetric appearance like it should. My other two look perfectly symmetric in the box. It doesn't leak and works fine, but I wish it didn't have the subtle off-kilter look.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I am irritated every time I use this faucet. I bought four of these for the bathrooms in my new house. I hate them all. First of all, the spout sticks out too far and too high over the sink. It gets in the way when I wash my face. Secondly, the cartridge (I believe that's what it's called) is too tight on all four. To get the temperature I want, I move the handle, wait for the water temperature to stabilize, then I have to bump it to change the temperater a little bit, check the temp and bump it again, check the temp and bump it again, and so on. It is not possible to just move the handle. If I apply enough pressure to move it a tiny bit, it moves a lot. I waste a lot of water every day doing this. All four are like this to varying degrees. Unfortunately, the one I use the most is the worst, and has been from day one. In addition, one of the faucets had something set wrong at the factory (per the plumber), so after it was installed, the handle would go all the way to the right and only a tiny bit to the left which meant I couldn't get any hot water from it. The plumber came back at a later date, opened it up and did something that fixed that problem, so it's not an issue at this time. It looks great, but is a functional disaster.

What is model # for the 6 1/2" add on?

A previous user asked if this was one piece or two and Delta answered saying one piece but that there was an additional 6 1/2" piece that could be attached to it. Is this to make the faucet a high riser for use with a vessel sink? If so, I am interested in this piece but could not find it anywhere. Can you please advise?

Hi Sstchur, Thank you for your question. The 6-1/2" add on is part of the faucet body and not available as a separate piece. The Lahara series does not offer a vessel bowl version of the model 538-SSMPU-DST. Thanks, Dave

I ordered a facuet set in the champagne gold. It appears that it is going to fingerprint easily. Have you had any complaints?

Thank you for your question, Gloria! Our Champagne Bronze is a Brilliance finish and is designed not to corrode, tarnish or discolor for a “like-new” look for life. While this does not prevent fingerprints from getting on the surface, these can be easily cleaned by wiping the finish with a damp cloth. If additional cleaning is needed, we recommend using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Best regards, Jon

Faucet handle difficult to move. How do you loosen it? New house and have seven Lahara faucets and one is difficult to turn on and off. I can easily fix it if you can tell me how. Thanks

what is the height of the tip of the faucet where the water comes out from the counter top height?
