Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this faucet This faucet is beautiful. It is so easy to use which is perfect for someone older. The pop drain gives a good seal for the basin but allows swift drainage of the basin when open. I’m very pleased with this faucet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks good, but leaking I really like the look of these faucets. We are living in a newly built house, moved in 10/2024. One of these faucets has already developed a leak from the handle. The leak developed overnight, seeped down the installation hole in the counter top and flooded the bottom of the vanity cabinet, also spilling onto the floor. We currently have the water shut off in that bathroom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well Designed, but Stainless Finish shows Water Spots We remodeled two bathrooms and installed Lahara faucets in both of them. In one bathroom, we installed the Champagne Bronze finish, which is lovely. In the other bathroom, we installed the Stainless finish. I really love the function/feel of this faucet in every other way, but was surprised that the Stainless finish shows water spots. It's not a big deal to me. It's our kids bath, and functionality/durability is more important to me in that room than a spotless appearance (it will NEVER be spotless anyway :p). All of the plumbing fixtures in that bathroom are Delta stainless finishes and they ALL show water spots badly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart Design We had the Delta Lahara single hole faucet in Champagne Bronze installed in a powder room renovation. It is a beautiful faucet with very smoothly functioning features. Maybe it sounds weird, but the handle feels really nice in my hand...smooth to the touch, well designed, smooth action. We also installed the same faucet in stainless, in another bathroom. But the stainless finish tends to show water spots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from There are better options If you have children, I wouldn't suggest this. This faucet has the most sensitive shut off lever and is always dripping. You'll spend 5 minutes just trying to figure out the correct position for the lever so it stops dripping. Not worth it.

What is model # for the 6 1/2" add on?

A previous user asked if this was one piece or two and Delta answered saying one piece but that there was an additional 6 1/2" piece that could be attached to it. Is this to make the faucet a high riser for use with a vessel sink? If so, I am interested in this piece but could not find it anywhere. Can you please advise?
Asked by: sstchur
Hi Sstchur, Thank you for your question. The 6-1/2" add on is part of the faucet body and not available as a separate piece. The Lahara series does not offer a vessel bowl version of the model 538-SSMPU-DST. Thanks, Dave

Asked by: Pat Sammon
Thank you for your question, Pat! The handle has a set screw on the front located under the hot/cold indicator button. Once this button is pried off, you will need a 1/8" allen wrench to remove the handle. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-538-MPU-DST.pdf Best regards, Edward

Will the Brilliance Stainless Finish Resist Damage from Straight Vinegar?

My wife uses CPAP equipment and the hose and mask have to periodically cleaned with straight vinegar. Will the vinegar damage the Brilliance Stainless finish on the faucet and especially the drain assembly? I'm talking 26 cleanings per year for the foreseeable future. Thank you!
Asked by: Rick
Hi Rick, Thank you for your question. We recommend to clean the faucet with half white vinegar and water. Straight white vinegar should not damage the finish if rinsed off soon after contact. However, repeated soaking with straight vinegar for more than a couple minutes could damage the finish. Best regards, Jon

Is it possible for a leak to occur where the pex lines are joined to the faucet? I have some water dripping underneath through the installation hole and it is not from water around the counter top area.

Asked by: Barry
Hi Barry, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We will be happy to assist you in resolving this issue as quickly as possible. It is possible that a flush could resolve this issue. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold-water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut-off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the fully open middle position, and then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and repeat with the second line. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We look forward to continuing to serve you. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Best Regards, Kelley
