I am irritated every time I use this faucet.
I bought four of these for the bathrooms in my new house. I hate them all. First of all, the spout sticks out too far and too high over the sink. It gets in the way when I wash my face. Secondly, the cartridge (I believe that's what it's called) is too tight on all four. To get the temperature I want, I move the handle, wait for the water temperature to stabilize, then I have to bump it to change the temperater a little bit, check the temp and bump it again, check the temp and bump it again, and so on. It is not possible to just move the handle. If I apply enough pressure to move it a tiny bit, it moves a lot. I waste a lot of water every day doing this. All four are like this to varying degrees. Unfortunately, the one I use the most is the worst, and has been from day one.
In addition, one of the faucets had something set wrong at the factory (per the plumber), so after it was installed, the handle would go all the way to the right and only a tiny bit to the left which meant I couldn't get any hot water from it. The plumber came back at a later date, opened it up and did something that fixed that problem, so it's not an issue at this time.
It looks great, but is a functional disaster.

Disappointed!
I ordered the faucet and it arrived promptly. I had a professional plumber install it. (I was having my bathroom remodeled, so it was a while before the faucet was installed.) When I tried to close the stopper so that the basin would hold water, there was no seal - the water seeped out. I had the plumber come back to the house and he said that the stem/plunger (I don't know what it is called) was not long enough. The time was past that I could return it, so I am stuck with a basin that doesn't hold water, because of a faulty faucet!

Beautidul form and color!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these faucets because I wanted a muted gold look and the flowing form was very attractive. They are on my brown granite bathroom counter top and add shine, style and color to my bathroom. I always buy Delto because they're reliable and I like the convenience of one handle. My plumber was delighted with the color because he had never seen it before.

Bathroom counter top replacement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced the counter tops in our master and guest bath. We purchased 2 of the Delta Champagne Bronze and 1 Venetian Bronze and just love them. Our plumber said Delta was top notch and said we had made a wise choice. So far, no complaints and they look great!

Would buy something else next time
Faucet looks nice and feels solid. Hate the movement (very limited) of the handle and the hot cold mix it produces. It's very hard to use and poorly designed. And we have three of these. Two in the master and one in the powder bathrooms. The handle to pull up the stopper is very hard to get to and poorly designed. If I had to buy these faucets again, it would not be this brand or model.

Easy to install, but noisy
Installation is very easy. No hoses required because built-in pex hoses are included. Only downside is both of my faucets make a "roaring" noise when partially open. However, once they are opened 75% or more, there is no noise at all. Might work fine in a locker room, but too noisy for a home bathroom. I'd give this faucet 5 stars if it was quieter.

Great Faucet
Updated the Master Bath and absolutely love these faucets. The single handle is easy to use, does not stress the early stages of arthritic hands. The longer reach spout works great in today's lavatories. Most builders (will they ever "get it"?) install the cheapest they can find which also means a very short reach. Then the place the mirror right on the back splash and then every time one uses the faucet....splattered mirror. Easy install, extends to mid lavatory, and a dream to use, plus it looks smashingly good.

Great Looking Product
Just the right color we have been looking for,but the water flow adjustment is tricky, very short play in the handle makes getting the right temp of the water. I complained about a noisy water flow and the rep sent me a replacement cartridge, not yet installed.
We only have the faucet in use for about a month so will wait to see if the noise goes away after use.

I do love this faucet ...the look and the finish. I only have one issue....it continues to have a very chemical, strange smell to it....I don't know if it is the finish or what. But it lends that especially when the faucet is turned on.

I have had two of these faucets in my hall bathroom for the past 5 years. They look stunning and always get compliments, but are a bad choice for sinks used by children or inattentive people because to be turned off, the handle needs to line up with the faucet, or it drips and runs. It only turns fully off in one position. People sort of expect to push the handle down in any position in order to turn it off and they don't check to make sure the water flow has ceased.

Not a Fan of this faucet!
The craftsmanship of this product is great but the functional design is to my mind poor.
To turn on the water you lift the handel up. To set water tempreature you rotate the handle left or right for hot or cold in a windshield wiper motion. The problem is the range of motion from very hot to cold is small - so trying to get the right temp means a movement of about 1/8th of an inch. This takes finesse and wastes a lot of water.

have a lahara three hole faucet in another bathroom. Love it; it is a beautiful, sleek faucet. So we bought the single hole version for a tiny master bedroom bath. The single hole faucet works great but is no where near as sleek as the three hole one. I was worried that the drain rod would hit the wall but it works fine - it would be nice if Delta gave the dimension needed for the drain rod to be fully extended; it's an important dimension for those of us with small bathrooms!

I ordered a facuet set in the champagne gold. It appears that it is going to fingerprint easily. Have you had any complaints?
Thank you for your question, Gloria! Our Champagne Bronze is a Brilliance finish and is designed not to corrode, tarnish or discolor for a “like-new” look for life. While this does not prevent fingerprints from getting on the surface, these can be easily cleaned by wiping the finish with a damp cloth. If additional cleaning is needed, we recommend using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water.

Delta 538 SSMPU-DST The facet is loose. It moves to the left and right. I'd say 1/2 inch each way. Looking from underneath there is no way I can see to tighten it. HELP!
