water flow off center -- why?
I like the design and quality of the product BUT :- Why is the water flow not midline ? I remember reading a comment about this when I was researching faucets but forgot that this was one that does this. Can this be fixed by just removing the aerator or do I need a replacement for this faucet --- I'm not sure I can adjust to this quirk !

What a visual statement it makes!
This very bold faucet with its rich, dark color makes an amazing statement in our new cream colored bathroom. Its color draws out the subtle brownish veins in the tiles and its considerable size and dynamic shape make it an eye-catching central point in the room. We are so pleased that we chose this faucet; we couldn't be happier!

Great Faucet With A Small "But"
I wish we didn't go with chrome - it shows up all the water spots. Also, though it set installed directly over the sink drain the aerator seems to point the water stream slightly off center - not a big deal but it's annoying when you're a perfectionist.

Nice faucet
Just now installed this faucet we bought weeks ago, and it was easy to install. I have never had one that had everything included. You do not have to buy the supply lines, and if the ones that come with the faucet are too long, you have the option of cutting them shorter and installing new connections. Nice!

Very attractive

Impressive faucet !
This Delta faucet is a little larger and ideal for larger counters. Mine is 62" long with one oval basin (undermount) and a small faucet would have not looked right.
The handle is a good size as well and everything looks balanced and modern. I am very happy with my purchase and Delta faucets were recommended to me by my plumber !

Easy to install for my husband
My husband installed 2 of these faucets pretty easily, and there has not been much of a problem. I like it that the arch is taller than other models so that there is more space between spout and the sink.

Understated appearance
The stainless finish reduces visible water spots. The design is simple and understated but still provides an updated look that compliments my antique and blue sapphire granite counters. Lever is precise in movement for accurate water temperature control. One note, when closing the drain, the pull pulls out at an angle in the rear of fixture, which has access/clearance issue on backsplash. Make sure sink mount hole is far enough away from backsplash.

bad design
I mounted this with the 3 hole cover plate and the tigtining bolt mounted to the faucet is offset. This in turn causes the faucet to be crooked, no other way. My only alternative after speaking with delta to no avail is to order another lav. bowl with one hole so the faucet will have more stabilaty and at least appears to be straight.
If you have a 3 hole design lav. bowl I strongly suggest another brand alternative. I am a plumber and have installed plenty of faucets.

Love it.
I really love it. The most convinient faucet spout I ever had in my life. I have been always annoyed with short, low faucet spouts, but this one is really great. Tall, protruding just right away from the back of the sink, and bend so that the stream of water goes toward front. I have bought it as a replacement and it was easy to install myself (I'm 57, and quite "well rounded" woman). The only thing I would like is for the handle to be a little longer, but it looks like short handles is a trend roght now. I would recommend it my friends.

loose handle, bad drain
The handle on this faucet is very loose and hard to control hot vs. cold water. The drain is very hard to seal tightly. It has been adjusted several times and it is still hard to keep water in the bowl. Disappointed in this Delta product.

Too good for guest bathroom
Ha! I bought this for our guest bathroom and it looks better than I expected. I bought in chrome and quality is good and solid. The spout height and angle give it an elegant look. This is not just a basic faucet...well worth the cost. This will be around for awhile and I would replace other fixtures like lighting to go with this instead of losing a beautiful piece. My plumber didn't seem to have any issues with the install.

I first did on bathroom remodel and ordered this faucet. It looked so good that when I did the other bathroom, I ordered the same faucet for that bathroom. It is very nice looking and is easy to keep clean. I would buy anotherone if I had a third bathroom . . .

I ordered a facuet set in the champagne gold. It appears that it is going to fingerprint easily. Have you had any complaints?
Thank you for your question, Gloria! Our Champagne Bronze is a Brilliance finish and is designed not to corrode, tarnish or discolor for a “like-new” look for life. While this does not prevent fingerprints from getting on the surface, these can be easily cleaned by wiping the finish with a damp cloth. If additional cleaning is needed, we recommend using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water.

Delta 538 SSMPU-DST The facet is loose. It moves to the left and right. I'd say 1/2 inch each way. Looking from underneath there is no way I can see to tighten it. HELP!
