In the end, we installed a different faucet as this faucet, in person, appeared more masculine and industrial than we were looking for. It is a great looking faucet and, if I remodel our half bath, it will be the faucet I order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it's a faucet all metal faucet, looks good, works like it's supposed to. it came with everything in the box needed to hook it up. the stopper in the sink works great, it held water over night. the stopper feels loose when you use it but it uses the pressure of the water in the sink to close it tighter so you don't have to yank up hard on the lever to close it tight.

My only tiny complaint (although I still would not choose another faucet because I like the look of this one) is the small opening that the water comes out. Still love it though - very classy looking. One big drawback is that I bought towell & tp racks to match but there is no toilet handle to match - very frustrating!

Seems nice and sturdy as other reviewers noted, but VERY unhappy with the Giant DELTA label - about an inch high, spanning entire width of faucet column base, and incredibly high visibility. Might as well be a neon sign. Has anyone else come up with a way to remove this? I couldn't see anything like this in the online image, or else I never would have bought this. Big manufacturer label screaming from the front is not what I consider a hallmark of fine bathroom appointments. Will be sending back if I can't figure out a way to remove this horrendous obnoxious label.

How does the champagne bronze finish hold up with hard water?

I would like to install the Dryden single lever faucet on a 3cm granite countertop.. Will this work?

And what is the minimum distance needed between the center of the single mounting hole and the backsplach needed for the pop-up drain lever to work with ease?

Hi Carol, Thank you for your question. The model 551-SS-DST has a max deck thickness of 2-7/8". The faucet can mount to 3cm granite. The minimum recommended clearance to the backsplash is 2-1/2". Thanks, Dave

Replacement Cartridge - So we've run into an issue where there is water leaking under the handle and it appears that we just need to replace the cartridge. However, we want to make sure order the correct part. We ordered the Delta Faucet Nyla Cartridge?

Can I attach rigid chrome supply lines to this faucet?

This facet will go on a pedestal sink. The pedestal does not sit flush to the wall which leaves the supply lines exposed. I want to attach rigid chrome supply lines to the faucet to make it look more pleasing than the existing flexible tubing

How much space behind faucet is needed for the pull rod on the 551-dst?

Many of your faucets require 2.5 inches from the center of the sink mounting hole to the back splash panel. This is so the push rod that opens and closes the drain can operate properly. This item is silent on this issue. I have a sliding mirror and the frame extends out, leaving about 1.5 inches rather than the 2.5 inches. Can I use this faucet? If not can you recommend similar one handled items that would work?

Thank you for your question. When using Delta Faucet model # 551-DST, your 1.5 inch distance to the backsplash will work with this faucet. You may have to adjust the strap to the pivot rod when installing the pop-up assembly.

How much space is required for this faucet between backspash and sink?

Ideally I would like to install this faucet with an undermount sink. Can you tell me how much total space this faucet requires between the backsplash and the rim of the sink? I have a narrow vanity and am trying to determine whether this faucet will fit.

What is the color difference between 551-SS-DST Stainless and 551-SP-DST Spotshield? The color looks the same online.
