Excellent quality
I purchased 2 of these and, while I was a bit apprehensive owing to the fact my prior setup had separate handles for hot and cold, I adjusted to the single lever without difficulty. Also I like the spring loaded stopper better than the plunger stopper I replaced. Very happy with the new setup.

Difficult to simply control water temperature
A true disappointment— the Dryden single post looks great. But the swing of the handle which controls the “comfort zone” is too limited. One can’t fine tune it between hot and cold like the single post at our lake house made by a different manufacturer. Despite the considerable expense, I intend to replace our two new Dryden single posts with 8-inch spread faucets.

Spotless is great
We put these in a guest bathroom. Look great. The spotless stainless is great as you don’t have to always polish them to get rid of fingerprints. All parts included. Easy installation. Lifetime warranty. I called for a part and they had it to me in 2 days! I have a Kholer kitchen faucet that the hose broke. 2 weeks and it just shipped. I will be buying Delta again. Very happy with our choice.

Dryden/ Champagne Bronze
I renovated my powder room with the fixtures in the Champagne Bronze. I love the color and the shape of the faucet. My one complaint is it spots terribly. Since this is the bathroom that guests use I always want it to look nice; I must wipe down that faucet 3-4 times a day! Although it's beautiful it requires effort to keep it that way. So if you don't mind the extra work this faucet is great.

Great Style
I have this faucet in ONE of my bathrooms and I love it! It has a nice quality feel in operating the handle. It goes very well with my rustic décor...in reading some of the comments yes any finish will show hard water deposits. I have not so good water myself and unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that. I use vinegar on my shower heads and to clean my faucets....the key is to wipe after use.....I LOVE this faucet!

Can I attach rigid chrome supply lines to this faucet?
This facet will go on a pedestal sink. The pedestal does not sit flush to the wall which leaves the supply lines exposed. I want to attach rigid chrome supply lines to the faucet to make it look more pleasing than the existing flexible tubing

How much space behind faucet is needed for the pull rod on the 551-dst?
Many of your faucets require 2.5 inches from the center of the sink mounting hole to the back splash panel. This is so the push rod that opens and closes the drain can operate properly. This item is silent on this issue. I have a sliding mirror and the frame extends out, leaving about 1.5 inches rather than the 2.5 inches. Can I use this faucet? If not can you recommend similar one handled items that would work?
Thank you for your question. When using Delta Faucet model # 551-DST, your 1.5 inch distance to the backsplash will work with this faucet. You may have to adjust the strap to the pivot rod when installing the pop-up assembly.

Is there video on replacing the Value Assembly ( PN RP50587 ) on the Dryden 551 series faucet ?
Thank you for your question, Charles! First, turn the water off at your shut off valves. Remove the handle with the provided allen wrench and unscrew the cap and bonnet nut by turning counter-clockwise. The cartridge simply lifts out of the valve body and replaced with the new cartridge. Re-install the handle and turn the water back on to test the faucet. Below is a link to the instructions that come with this cartridge as well as a How-To Video that shows how to make this repair on the Non-DST version of your model and cartridge which will essentially be the same process.

I would like to install the Dryden single lever faucet on a 3cm granite countertop.. Will this work?
And what is the minimum distance needed between the center of the single mounting hole and the backsplach needed for the pop-up drain lever to work with ease?
Hi Carol, Thank you for your question. The model 551-SS-DST has a max deck thickness of 2-7/8". The faucet can mount to 3cm granite. The minimum recommended clearance to the backsplash is 2-1/2".

Replacement Cartridge - So we've run into an issue where there is water leaking under the handle and it appears that we just need to replace the cartridge. However, we want to make sure order the correct part. We ordered the Delta Faucet Nyla Cartridge?
