The upgrade was not an upgrade!
I am so disappointed. I bought kitchen fixtures and these bath fixtures in champagne bronze. I couldn't be more unhappy. The champagne bronze color spots terribly and doesn't ever look clean. Besides that the faucet flow is weak, but manages to spray little drops of water all over my stomach while I'm standing there using it. Seriously, would not recommend at all!!

Champagne Bronze shows every spot of water
I have serious buyer's remorse and wish I'd done more research first. After completing my first ever remodeling project and spending serious money on these faucets at a plumbing supply company, I am VERY disappointed that they need CONSTANT upkeep or they appear dirty and smudgy. If you don't meticulously dry them with a towel after each use, every tiny drop of water dries to a spot on the faucets. I trust that they are well-made, durable pieces, but I almost don't want them to last because of all the maintenance they require. I attached a photo AFTER wiping, and I don't have hard water..

I do not see a pull up handle in the back. Is there one? If not, how does one stopper the sink drain?

Hi Angie, Thank you for your question. The base of the model 553LF-SS faucet measures 1-7/8". The recommended hole size is from 1-5/16" to 1-1/2". Here is a link to the spec sheet for the model 553LF-SS that shows these and other important dimensions.

Pop-up flange options
I recently installed the 553LF faucet. Before I install the spring loaded pop-up stopper I was wondering if there is stopper with a wider flange available? The former owners installed a Porcher sink and faucet which appears to have a 2 1/2 inch diameter flange on its stopper where the pop-up stopper flange is 2 1/8 inch diameter. I am concerned the pop-up stopper flange will be too small for the Porcher sink opening.

Use silicone when installing the drain?
The instructions with my Vero show in the diagram using silicone at the drain, but the instructions don't mention it. Is this necessary?

Thank you for your question. We do recommend applying a bead of silicone to the underside of flange of the drain assembly, for installation. This help creates a tight seal to the sink hole.
