It can't expect guests to wipe down the entire counter washing their hands. I will be replacing this faucet immediately.

We are so disappointed about the splashing that we are going to have to replace them all. Such a great loss, great inconvenience and unfortunate use of our valuable time. We have many rental properties and have always been happy with our purchases of Delta faucets. Too bad the same didn't hold true in our own home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous faucet, beautiful water flow A few years back I had an issue with a (non-Delta) faucet splashing everywhere, and I had to switch it. But I just loved the look of this faucet, and very apprehensively I bought it for my bathroom remodel despite the comments about splashing. My contractor told me if the splashing was a problem he'd be able to sell it for me to another one of his customers. It's wonderful - the water flow comes down in a beautiful twisting ribbon, no splashing at all! And I have a smallish sink. I couldn't be happier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I had this faucet installed by a professional plumber about 3 years ago. Never had a lot of cold pressure. Now it hardly trickles. Water lines have been taken off and has a lot of pressure. Save your money, don’t buy this Delta faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ellegant and Functional Love these faucets in my bathroom. Based upon some of the reviews regarding "overspray", I went with the lower pressure model. Had some overspray on one of my faucets but noticed that if the waterfall hits the edge of the stopper assembly, it would scatter spray. Moved the faucet assembly forward a few millimeters and problem was solved!

After about three years of use, the water simply will not come out of either of the two faucets...hot or cold. At best, we get just a small trickle. We had a licensed plumber come to the condo and confirm adequate water pressure to both faucets. Then, he completely dismantled one of the faucets, but he couldn't find anything wrong. He claimed that there's some sort of internal blockage that he had no way of clearing. He recommended that we buy two new faucets. We've had lower-end Delta faucets in the past that lasted over a decade. How can high-end faucets like these - costing this much fail so soon? Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Looks great and seems to be a quality faucet but splashes all over the counter, mirror and floors when used. I turned the water down under the sink and it helped when using full hot or full cold but when mixed the pressure increases and you get the same splashing problem. Is there an aerator or something to solve this problem?

Instructions were easy to understand and did not require a lot of tools. Using the Vero faucet is easy and looks great. The faucet looks great with my black speckled vanity. It adds a hint of moderness to my earth toned bathroom. The water flow is great. Not to fast or slow a steady waterfall like stream. This is a great durable product.

The look is style and the finish is elegant. I have gotten many compliments on the look of it. The handle was slightly tricky for my kids to figure out at first. They were creating alittle too much splash but quickly learned how to remedy that. It is a very smooth feeling handle to use. It is also very easy to clean. This is a durable handle and you can feel the high quality of the materials.

We had to remove to drain due to splashing and now we have corrosion at the spicket end (photo). We have tried to use lime away to remove the corrosion with little effect. We apparently have poor SS and it needs some sort of aerator to reduce spashing. We have filtered and soft water.

The faucet is high quality, easy to install and works great. It does splash a little more than other faucets, but I've found if you don't turn it on full force, that problem is cured and it still puts out plenty of water.

Looks beautiful but when you open the valves, water splashes everywhere. Can't enjoy free falling water from the faucet just because I'm so worried the splash. I see lots of the same comments here and Delta should take care of this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Design I bought 4 of these to replace the cheap faucets in my two bathrooms. The hole on the counter had been drilled too far back and they dripped on the counter, leaving hard water makes. These faucets not only had a reach to have the flow well past the counter, but they are so much more superior than any faucet I have ever had--even in my previous custom-built house! The design of the single handle allows you to turn it on and off without dripping on the rest of the faucet so it stays extremely clean and spot-free. I love these faucets!

Please provide more information about how the drain stopper works.

I do not see a pull up handle in the back. Is there one? If not, how does one stopper the sink drain?

What is the dimensions for the single hole faucet?

Hi Angie, Thank you for your question. The base of the model 553LF-SS faucet measures 1-7/8". The recommended hole size is from 1-5/16" to 1-1/2". Pop-up flange options

I recently installed the 553LF faucet. Before I install the spring loaded pop-up stopper I was wondering if there is stopper with a wider flange available? The former owners installed a Porcher sink and faucet which appears to have a 2 1/2 inch diameter flange on its stopper where the pop-up stopper flange is 2 1/8 inch diameter. I am concerned the pop-up stopper flange will be too small for the Porcher sink opening.

How to remove the stream straightener

Use silicone when installing the drain?

The instructions with my Vero show in the diagram using silicone at the drain, but the instructions don't mention it. Is this necessary?

Dear AmandaM, Thank you for your question. We do recommend applying a bead of silicone to the underside of flange of the drain assembly, for installation. This help creates a tight seal to the sink hole. Best regard, Tanya
