Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for us This faucet is simply gorgeous and I wanted it to work in pur powder room, and we spent 3 weekends trying and failing to install it. 1. This would be perfect in a new build, full remodel. Unfortunately we just updated our granite 2 months prior and the hardware for this sink just didn't fit well 2. The only way to make this fit correctly would be to have our granite replaced, at a cost of 1800. 3. We bought a plate and rubber fittings to try to make this work, but we had such a poor fit we stopped trying.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Will do This is a nice faucet, but the flow is not good, I don’t know what went wrong, but the water has little pressure and it’s disappointing. The faucet looks nice and works as it should.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta is my go to! Delta is my go to for plumbing fixtures. This faucet feels very sturdy and high end. The instructions provided are very clear. We are in the process of remodeling our bathroom, so I haven’t had a chance to install this yet but it is going to look stunning with the design we’ve chosen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love that it is a swivel 3 stars is for very weak water flow. I bought these for my last house and wanted them again only because they swivel and it makes it easier to wash my face (in the master bath). Darn flow though and and if we weren't in CA I'd remove the restrictor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A sleek, modern upgrade with a high-quality finish I absolutely love the modern look of this Delta Trinsic faucet! The chrome finish is stunning and incredibly reflective, giving my bathroom an instant refresh. It feels surprisingly heavy and well-made, not flimsy like some other brands I’ve tried. The single-handle operation is buttery smooth, making it really easy to get the perfect water temperature and flow. I haven't experienced any leaks or issues since installing it. It’s the perfect height for the sink—plenty of room to wash your hands without splashing everywhere. Highly recommend for a stylish update!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great and works amazing. I love this new bathroom faucet for my guest bath. I would’ve given it 5 starts however they didn’t send a plate to cover the extra holes left from the previous faucet so I did have to purchase those. However, it looks nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, modern addition to your home! This is an elegant, single hole chrome faucet! It is single-hole with the handle built-in to the base, very streamlined and modern. It is important to note: it IS a water-efficient faucet!! It is labeled “water sense” and uses 20% less water than usual. The confusing part is the installation directions are for a different faucet altogether, but both are single-hole so it is easy to extrapolate to this faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice, beautiful and quality built faucet. Very nice, beautiful and quality built faucet. The faucet comes with the pop up drain which is easy to use. All hardware included in the box and very simple for installation. It is very resistant to prints or water stains and looks great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made! Well made and fairly easy to install once you figure out the giant generic install instructions sheet. One press size sheet with instructions on every Delta faucet every made was confusing- the experience would have been better with a product specific use and care guide.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like the faucet, but don’t like the water pressure. Water pressure isn’t as good as my other faucet was.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Amazing faucet that we installed in the bathroom . The finish is matte and is study in the bathroom. It doesn’t rust and it amazing quality. It’s an easy installation and easy to turn off and on. I would highly recommend this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks modern The quality is great that it feels heavy . I love that it only has 1 handle. I did notice that when I touch the handle it feels loose like it wobbles at a soft touch I don't know if that's normal. Other than that it easy to use you don't need alot if strength to use the Handel. The design looks modern. I love it and really recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable I always love delta products. We actually have a shower head made by delta in one of our bathrooms. This is a faucet and we haven’t installed it yet but I’m sure it is durable. Delta always has great water flow too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ONLY single hole, no adapter to retrofit This is such a beautiful faucet, and such great quality from delta, I was disappointed that it was ONLY single hole. This was an error on my part, and when I went to go grab the adapter for it, it was going to be another $40. So I actually didn’t install & will be waiting till I get a new top in my bathroom to install.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleek minimalistic beautiful bathroom faucet! After installing this bathroom faucet in my guest bathroom I have received several compliments! The water flow is nice and the design is very sleep and minimalistic which I really enjoy. The product is durable and easy to clean. My only complaint is that it did not come with a plate for a 3 hole faucet. I originally wanted to put this in my other guest bathroom but wouldn’t have worked unless I purchased the plate cover for the bottom. All in all very nice bathroom faucet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I love the matte black color and the design is sleek and modern. It seems really well made so far, and that it will last a long time. It was super easy to install and has been easy to clean. The water flow has been great especially for a sleek-style faucet and it is really easy to turn on/off and adjust the water temperature. Overall, this is a great product and lives up to the price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully designed sink! Right from the box this was a beautiful facet! The installation was easy to follow and took us less than an hour. Removal wasn’t bad either, we are currently redoing our bathroom so removed it after installing to put in a new sink. The water flow was great and had good pressure. I like the single knob design, it’s easy to turn on and off with messy or wet hands. We have very hard water and it doesn’t seem to have built up on this sink which is a huge plus!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek and beautiful First, the design is absolutely gorgeous! Very sleek and designer vibes. Well made, heavy duty feel. A breeze to install, very simple to swap out. The water flow is great. The matte finish is very easy to wipe clean. It's a beautiful upgrade for any bathroom. Easy to use to find the perfect temp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely stunning and easy installation Super cute and elegant design . The quality of this faucet is absolutely amazing I love that it comes with everything you need to install. I’m so excited to install as soon as I get my new sink delivered.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleek design Overall this is very sleek. However. Couple things. Instructions are not for specific faucet but for any faucet so you need to do some additional research to make sure you are installing correctly. It also doesn’t come with caps if you are going from a three prong to one prong. But still love the matte black and we were still able to get it to work

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet Delta faucets are reliable and easy to install. They are a brand I trust to hold up well. I was excited to install this faucet to upgrade the cheap silver plastic faucet that came with my house. The directions were easy to follow and it took me about 15 minutes to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful durable bathroom faucet. Delta did great on the color style and finish on this bathroom faucet. Good info on how to install. Great 👍🏾 water pressure. Very easy to clean and keeps bathroom looking beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Given 5/5. Loving this look. This faucet is very durable and easy to install design. It has a beautiful finish that compliments the white sink and counter top so well with great water flow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and classy I love the simple but elegant look of this faucet. It fits my bathroom's aesthetic perfectly, and I couldn't be happier. The water flow is not fast, but that's how I prefer it anyway. This faucet is a winner for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install! Faucet came with all parts needed. My husband found the install quick and efficient. The entire time he read installing, he was complimenting the engineering design behind the faucet. I love the design! It looks beautiful in our bathroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Faucet This faucet is so nice! The matte black is classy and elegant looking. The faucet is durable and well made. Installation took about 20-30 minutes and wasn't difficult at all. Water flows out of the faucet nicely and the hot/cold water is perfect. Overall I would definitely recommend this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sleek! This is an extremely high-quality faucet for any bathroom sink. I absolutely love the design because it’s sleek and modern and would go with just about any decor. It has great water flow and it feels extremely durable. Installation was super easy and it came with all of the lines and extra parts that we might need. This was a well timed offering because we are in the middle of a bathroom remodel and I will update the review with pictures when it is complete.

Q&A

What is the total height of the faucet from the counter top to the top of the arch

Can this faucet be reversed with the lever on the left side?

Asked by: Brenda
Hi, Brenda! Thank you for your question. The Delta 559HA-BL-DST faucet can be installed with the handle to the left as the spout assembly does swivel 360 degrees. However, please note, the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. Best Regards, Rosanna

Our vessel sink fits a 1-5/8” drain. Will the included drain work? If not is there an alternative drain that would work?

Asked by: Rose1
Thank you for your question, Rose1! The threaded portion of the flange is 1 3/8" and the top surface diameter is 2 1/8". This assembly should work with a 1 1/2" diameter drain. However, the depth of the hole must be 1 5/8" to 2 3/8". https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-L-559HA-DST%20Rev%20C.pdf Best regards, Tanya

I have this and bought the Delta Trinsic kitchen faucet to complement it, but it seems like the two have opposite functionally where this one moves UP for hot and the kitchen faucet moves DOWN for hot. Is this correct?

Asked by: Grant
As a follow up to my earlier response to this question, I would like to suggest to Delta Faucet that they produce a retrofit kit for the kitchen faucet whereby a new handle is provided with the red/blue dot markings are reversed. Then the water supply lines can be crossed and the faucet will work the same as the bathroom faucet. Not sure why the faucets weren't designed alike for consistency.

What materials (inc specifics on "metal" is the trinsic (chrome) faucet made of. I'd like each part detailed. Is there any plastic used in this faucet?Matching shower and bath trim kit is mostly plastic? How can tub spout be plastic and durable?

Asked by: Anon3600
Hi Anonymous3600, Thank you for your question. Our faucets are made of several materials, and may depend on which model they are asking about. For example, the 559HA-DST's metal components: The top cap is bronze or 36000 brass, the bonnet nut is 36000 brass, the undercover plate is either stainless steel or 260 brass, the escutcheon is zinc. We can't provide that level of detail every time. And specific amounts are considered proprietary (trade secret). But in general, the faucet may contain: Bronze Brass (36000, 260) (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings) Zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle) Stainless Steel (undercover plate, seat liner, set screw) Copper (tubing) PEX-C (puck and tubing) Silicone (gaskets) Synthetic rubber - EDPM, Santoprene (hoses) Vinyl (hoses) Nylon Plastics Best regards, Tanya
